Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Do you understand a normal possession is not equivalent to a trip to the FT stripe? Your point only stands when every Knicks offensive possession results in RJ Barrett going to the FT line. He's not a bad enough FT shooter to warrant hack-a-RJ strategy and that's about as far as you can go with that argument.
You honestly have no clue what you're saying.

More like 1.38 cuz Barret is 69% career FT shooter, whereas ANY team would average 1.46 when ANY average player goes to the line.

So yeah I'm sure Knicks would rather take any average guy to the line before Barrett cuz they are basically -0.08 pts per possession with Barrett doing it. Like if there's a technical free throw would you ask Barrett to do it or 82% FT shooter Burks to do it? Exactly
You're arguing just to argue.

The point I was responding to is that he doesn't hurt his team by drawing more fouls and getting more freethrows. Nothing you brought up in your reply back to me debunks this.
Well except that's not what i said. I specifically said the more shots he take the more he hurts the team because of his poor %. Not just FTs. Every shots. All shots. 2s. 3s. You name it. The guy is an all-around poor shooter. Wrose TS% than Westbrick last season says it all.

Nothing in my statement opposes "drawing fouls". Doesn't matter how many FTs you shoot in a game if you can't make them at a good %. That's all I said.

You equate a regular offense possession to shooting FTs which is just plain wrong. Teams don't score 1.4 pts every offense possession. Sure. But neither does RJ get to shoot FTs every offensive possession. There are so many possible outcomes out of an offensive possession and shooting FTs is just one of them.

You said this:

NBA's average FT % is about 73% so yeah if you are below leagues average you should strop cuz the more you shoot the more you hurt the team.

If you didn't mean he's hurting his team when shooting FT's, then you worded this extremely poorly.
