Wendell plays the 4 alongside Bamba. If not Wendell, get Collins to pair up with Ayton.
Isn’t Wendell slow and bad on defense?

Virtually everyone said the opposite last week. Trader Danny is afoot and I would take a very high bet that we get a similar haul for Spida.I vote full tank. This year's draft is the best in a decade. Mitchell will force his way out. Might as well capitalize on the best draft at the same time. We shouldn't delay
Dell Demps loved Gobert when he worked with him, so that trade was unnaturally biased with inside info. Mitchell will not yield the same thing. Sorry, he won't. It maybe close but in reality it won't happen. No team feels than Mitchell is absolutely necessary. None. Dell Demos felt Gobert was. Period.
Maybe try and develop Vanderbilt beside Ayton?I get that he can play with another big, I'm just not a huge fan of the idea of pairing Ayton/Carter or Ayton/Collins when none of them are great defenders.
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt in his argument. It's just crazy to me that Mitchell gets a complete pass from so many people for playing no defense, not even trying to involve the guy with the highest shooting percentage in the league, and continually throwing up ****** shot after ****** shot. But because Gobert can't literally guard the entire floor all at the same time it's all his fault and good riddance he's gone. The delusions just run so deep it's unfathomable.Generational? Respectfully, no way. Nothing he does is some sort of once every 20 years (or even 3-4 years) type of player. Perhaps for us as a franchise he is. We may not get another player of his caliber for 15-20 years. But generally speaking, he’s not special in ways that Lebron, Giannis, Doncic, Durant, Curry and even Harden are.
Rudy yielded 2 expiring contracts, a role player, 2 complete unknown players, and picks way off into the future. If you trade for Rudy/Don and have to move them again in 2 years, who's more valuable? Don by a country mile and it's not even relatively close. There's a very real possibility that Rudy's deal is looked at like Westbrook/Wall in a couple years.Dell Demps loved Gobert when he worked with him, so that trade was unnaturally biased with inside info. I'd probably slot him in as a starter right now, hard to project though before we see what happens at C and w/ Conley and Bojan.Maybe try and develop Vanderbilt beside Ayton?
He won't get what Rudy got. He is not viewed as essential by any team in the league. Don is going to get back a massive haul because he's 5 years younger, cheaper, more appealing to fans, and helps you recruit in a big market. Teams like Miami/NY are interested in him because they understand what he can do in their markets. The Wolves didn't mind trading for Rudy because they're not ever going to attract FAs regardless. He won't get what Rudy got. He is not viewed as essential by any team in the league. Yes! Keep selling him to NY. Sell him so hard that when the time comes they would have no choice but to include ALL the picks they can possibly include! Hope they become more and more high on the Don.
New York is the only team that will throw a lot in a trade for Don...because of fans sentiment for him. But they did sign Jalen Brunson. I don't think they view Mitchell as their big prize. Miami may want him, but they have weak draft capital. No one else except a team like OKC or Orlando would offer a lot for Mitchell. It is not gonna happen. In the Utah fan's hearts he is viewed as Batman but to everyone else in the league he is Robin.Don is going to get back a massive haul because he's 5 years younger, cheaper, more appealing to fans, and helps you recruit in a big market.
