LA has some of the hotttestttt bishes around and Size/Huge who is having a mid-life crisis of sort just thrives in it.

The women here are awesome.
I'm far from mid-life.
I don't have problems getting attention from these women.

You can continue to fake disinterest if you want. But, it'd be better for your dudes-I-swear-I'm-straight routine if you feigned jealousy instead.

wrong. The San Gabriel mountains are right here. Plus, the mojave is right here. The ocean is fine if you aren't a baby or have a wetsuit. As far as large global cities are concerned, LA has some of the best access to outdoor stuff. In other words, you're waaaay wrong.

I just personally don't like the outdoor stuff that LA has to offer. For some, it is great. But I like living by world class ski resorts, awesome rivers, and great mountain biking/hiking. I am sure you can get some great mountain biking/hiking in the LA area, but you have to drive like hours to get out of the city, and then drive to the mountains.

I am not afraid of cold water though, but I can see why some dont like surfing in the pacific. If I was a surfer, I would probably live in Southern California. I am sure LA is awesome, but I just don't personally like it.

haha, very true. Well, except for one thing you left out, it's the well of white folks kids that you are hanging out with at the bagel shop. The well of white folks just live in their gated communities, and get their bagels delivered...

Is there a major global city that fits that criteria? I don't think so. So, what are we talking about again? If we're talking about priorities, then it appears you've prioritized things that keep you out of major cities. That's a decision I understand. If we're talking about how all major cities suck by your criteria, then I think we're wasting our time.

I thought it was that we just name some places where we would want to live... Anyway, I would not really pick to live in a major city. If I did though, I would probably pick Seattle or Portland, because both of those fit my criteria pretty well. The best though, would probably be Vancouver, BC.

True, but what is the draw to a major city? To me, the only major city that I would want to live in would be New York. (at least in the US)

NYC has so much culture and something new to do every day. But it is terrible if you like to do anything outdoors.

Well, I still don't have to like it. haha. Isn't that the point of this whole exercise? We can pick different places and be happy. If you like LA, that is cool, and I can see how you would like it. I am just not that into it. For city life though, it would probably be pretty epic, and still have decent opportunities to get out of the city.
