I saw your grades in the other thread. You just seem very fair in many ways and a little more generous in others. At least than I’d be. In Rubio’s case, much more. For me, he’s been a professional long enough and experienced enough failures and success (January on last year, the playoffs) to come back and have the best season in his career. He didn’t remotely do that imo. Awful shooting numbers. Wildly inconsistent. 11 games missed. That’s mediocre at best and C-/maybe D territory.

****, dude. I'm more than a little concerned about the extra wear and tear this is putting on Rudy, Ingles, and Donovan. I was hoping we'd be able to give them some rest coming down this final stretch. Guess not.

I think that Favors and Korver are getting the rest. If we needed this game to make the playoffs there would probably be different arrangements.

We do need this game possibly for home court and to avoid houston

oh yeah, the guy who has a career average of 6.5 pts against Utah. And he is soft as toilet paper. We are doomed :D

Houston will probably close out the season with 3 wins. Their last game will be against OKC, who will likely be their first round opponent. I bet they go all out on that one. Should be a great first round series.

This isn't the time "rest" players. We have road games against the Lakers and Clippers, and play Denver at home; does anyone really think we are going to sweep these three? Losing to the Kings means we have to beat the Clips, on their home floor, on a back-to-back.

Losing to the Kings would be a disaster.

The only game that doesn't make me pucker with worry is the Laker game. I'm absolutely deeply worried about all three of the other games, given how thin we are. ****ing sucks.

Didn't last time Favors have back spasms keep him out for months or something? And he moved like a 40 year old when he got back. I googled back spasms and the potential causes are, um, not good.

He was hobbled for 2 years! I'm hoping this is a minor issue, and that the Jazz are keeping him out as a precautionary measure.

This is such a big deal. ****. The difference between 'precautionary' and 'legit' couldn't be bigger for this team.

I don't think we advance without Favs being at least 80%.

I recall Favors being able to stop Giannis when Gobert couldn't. That was so awesome to watch. Give him some HGH or something. Whatever it takes. We need that version of Favors to have a chance of making real noise in the playoffs.

He's a match up mismatch against the Rockets anyway, could hardly get on the floor last year. And I don't think injury excuses fly against Portland.

Thank god we aren't playing OKC though, because he destroys them.

Get well soon Favors, was playing so great lately.

Jazz need to win 2 of these last 4 games to hold onto the 5th seed. Winning these next 2 are key. Then, who knows.

Is it odd that I find satisfaction with being tied with the Sixers in the loss column?

Andy Larsen thinks it's mostly precautionary. I believe everything Andy says because he's amazing and Quin loves him. So that means I love him.

Good to hear. Let's hope this precaution doesn't slide us into 6th.
