Utah Jazz in desperate need of long term coaching solution

Year over year internal provement is not skipping steps. Regression is. Why is same team but older losing more games if not coaching? I do not want to hear lame excuses like the Quin apologists say young team or new system either.

tbh I'm not sure we have regressed. I mean... watch the games. We've been pretty competitive in this year. As someone said above, Quinn's offense is working...we just can't hit open shots on our team. The team plays hard and actually pretty well in streaks. Everyone else in the West, and frankly much of the East, got better. The knock on Quinn is the same knock on Corbin: defensively we're a disaster. At some point we have to ask if we just don't have the right roster to play good defense. Favors and Kanter cannot defend together. Look how much better we defend with Gobert and Kanter.

Burke is always going to struggle defensively, and Burks is getting better but makes a lot of mistakes.

Last season after first 24 games of having real full time point guard jazz go 11-13. This season every starter is playing as good (Burke) or more better (Hayward and Favors much improvement, Kanter is most improved in offense, Burks is same or better all around stats).

Snyder is clear downgrade from Corbin based on results and needs to be replaced asap. The defense still sucks and the games are no fun to watch. We already have posters telling they no longer watch games and ESA looks empty.

#NoMoreRookieCoaches

Mods please give me permission to destroy the op verbally of course?

When jazz are winning more last year but not enough for playoffs it is coaches fault. When same team is losing more under new coach it is players fault. Will you make up your mind?

1. It's not the SAME team. As I tried to point out in my previous post, last year had some key vets. Ty put them with the starters, which meant Kanter and Burks were coming off the bench. This year the "vet" is Booker, with the other bench players rookies and a sophomore. Experience DOES matter.

2. I never blamed Ty for the number of wins/losses. I'm not sure ANY coach could have gotten more than 35 wins out of that group. Adjust for the injuries to Trey and Derrick and I think the Jazz should have won 30 games. The difference between 25 and 30, IMO, came in the final 1 1/2 months when most players were just not playing hard. What I AM most critical of - and I know GVC and franklin have belabored this point to the contrary - is that Kanter and Burks should have been starters and remained starters from Game 1-82. Even before the season began, the big ? raised by the media and I believe it was KOC (could have been DL, though) was can Favors and Kanter start and play together? Never really found that out because they started only for a handful of games, when the Jazz had Abbott and Costello as the PG's. Then the game in which Burke finally became the starter was the same game Kanter was benched. It takes playing time to develop offensive and defensive chemistry. Late in the season, we did see a starting five of Favors. Kanter, Burke, Burks and Hayward But that group would be WAY ahead THIS season, even in a different scheme, had they started 70+ games together last year. There's simply no excuse why RJ and MW, who would be bench players on every other team in the NBA, were starting.

Also, Quin Snyder is fine, the jazz suck because DOL says they have to suck or else it is skipping steps. Look at the LA Clippers, they built things right, they didn't skip the steps of sucking for 20 years before they got a franchise player. Jazz just need to follow their lead. Don't skip steps! Go hang that on your wall.

Or we could be like the Knicks. They've made a lot of awesome win-now moves over the years. I wonder how they're doing now? Gotta be better than the Clippers, right?

It isnt the Jazzfanz if the coach's head isnt called for, one-two months into the season. Earlier everything was Sloan's fault. Last year, Corbin couldnt coach. And now Snyder has to go.

When are we going to get someone posting as "LindseyBeGone?"

I love Quin Snyder. I'm perfectly happy with where the team is right now and the direction that the Jazz are heading. I think that he's an extremely intelligent guy who will need to build his roster a lot more for future success. I like him a helluva lot more than I thought I would when they hired him.

What I do know is that rebuilding takes time. I think that DL and Snyder will build a winner if they're allowed to do it their way. I have faith in both of them. Knee jerk reactions in major decisions like that lead to becoming the Kings or the Timberwolves. The Jazz owners have proven that they're patient and loyal to a fault. I'm encouraged that this means they'll give their top guys a chance to fulfil their vision for the Jazz without having to worry about knee jerk reactions.

A few questions,
#1. How can you be happy with where the Jazz are and where they're heading?
6 w's and 19 L's = 24% Win% They are 1-9 in their last10.
#2. Where are they heading?
Maybe with improvement they will have a 30 W season in the future?!
#3 Rebuilding does take time, sooo..... how much time should it take?????
Feb 2011 We traded D-Will for Favors and Devin Harris, not even to go into rebuilding mode yet. But we were so horrible we have tried to "rebuild" from that. The point is, our rebuilding started in 2005 with the draft of D-Will and here we are 9 years later still sucking down Losses. News flash, if KOC is the Pres of basketball opps, DL or anyone will never have their say so involving the Utah Jazz. KOC is a cancer and we will apparently have him for the long haul.

If we're not rebuilding why have we won only 6 games thus far? Why do we have a track record of failure? WE better be doing something because we suck.
You said we started rebuilding in 2005. Yet we went to the western conference finals after that.
So his question was...... we were rebuilding when we went to the western conference finals?

The only thing you tried to point out on your last post is Trey = JLIII. Lol you have no credibility anymore. You are a Quin Snyder schill. Are you his agent tbh?
