Utah Jazz in desperate need of long term coaching solution

The only thing you tried to point out on your last post is Trey = JLIII. Lol you have no credibility anymore. You are a Quin Snyder schill. Are you his agent tbh?

JLIII shot 33%/30% for Utah last season. Trey Burke was at 37%/29% through the end of November. So yes, the two were very comparable until Trey had a couple of decent games in December.

Not sure what a "schill" is, but call me a Snyder "shill" if you want. I'm just pointing out this team - to this point - has been as weak in terms of overall personnel as it was last season. Now if the Jazz players don't continue to develop, THEN I think you can make a case for QS not doing a decent job.

I've found it! I know our long term coaching solution.

Ouin!

Boom.

In the bag, stupid bitches!

Laugh like ****. You are getting desperate QSAgent. Comparing Trey to JLIII LLF. Claiming Hayward Favors Kanter Gobert are all not way better. Keep schilling for your client my friend.

"no clue how to use" versus "choosing to not use"

He does not fit the QS system. QS will develop the players he wants here long term. JE never will be a 3-point threat, nor is his D good enough to offset. He is toast as a jazzman

Talent fits every system. Quinn is too stupid to figure out how like Jerry would have. Even Corbin was not so dumb he could not squeeze some juice out of Evens. Quinn is too dumb yo. Can not even find how to get Novak three pointers over Jingles.... Wtf is Jingles even seeing floor time? He sucks at everything.

Good lord. Can we create a Forum called the tar pit and start putting all threads by Boobs and lakersslapper in there so we don't have to see them? Just a question. I'm am serious though.

Boobs is franklin?

Good to know

Not even John Wooden would win consistently with the team we have this year. Quin is awesome and he is on the same page as DL, so he's not going anywhere.

Have you thought about using the board's ignore function as a viable solution?

So, Ty is much smarter than QS. Say no more.

Yep tried it once. Pretty worthless option considering most outrageous idiotic posts get quoted and that includes almost all of this guys posts. Including 6+ times in this thread and counting.

Are you implying t QS is smarter than Jerry who found use for pogo? Plea$e advize.

Corbin started one player we definitely KNEW wasn't going to be around the following year (RJ) and another who was about 90% out the door (Marvin). Also tried to work in Rush. Magnificent (for them)!!! Each of those guys ought to give Ty an agent's cut of their contracts. AS for what it did to help the Jazz? Well, I'm sure you'll argue the youngsters couldn't have developed without the amazing tutelage of Marvin, RJ, Brandon and JLIII. Just no substitute for veteran "savvy!"

By all means, let's cut the minutes of Kanter or Favors or send Booker to the bench to find time for Evans, a tweener who is going to be an UFA and has limited range. He fits the system Quin wants to run and will certainly be retained next season. Or yes, let's give playing time to Novak. He's an absolute beast on defense and is young enough to contribute 3-4 years down the road. At least Jingles is an NBA rookie. He MIGHT have upside. Probably not, but worth a look given his considerable int'l experience. And he stays in front of his man on defense. What I've seen from Novak is worth replaying on Comedy Central.

So I'm too busy to read the garbage in this thread.

I just wanted to say that Quin is doing an excellent job. The team is intense, the offense is magnificent, the defense is improving, the substitution and game management is taking shape, and the Jazz are competitive in every game. Our record is fantastic considering the BRUTAL schedule we've had. If we can stay healthy I look for Quin to be on the short list of COY. Imo, he and Kerr have been dynamite thus far.

Until I got to the last part, I thought you were being pretty sincere. The only thing wrong with the offense thus far is players haven't been hitting open 3's. Our team 3PT% is five points under the opposition (33% vs. 38%). Overall FG% is only two percentage points lower. Rebounds, assists and blocks are all better than our opponents. TO's have improved. Now averaging <15/per. Still high, but not as bad as when the season began.

I'd say the COY race right now is:

Kerr
Casey
Budenholzer
Joerger

I know it seems like a cop-out just to take the names of the coaches for the best teams in the NBA, but I really don't see any "surprise" teams like Phoenix was last season. To date, I think you can make an argument the four best teams have overachieved, taking their performance to the next level. Maybe put Washington in that category, too.

You said we started rebuilding in 2005. Yet we went to the western conference finals after that.
So his question was...... we were rebuilding when we went to the western conference finals?

Fair question. Let me ask you, did we win the Western Conference Finals? After losing did we rebuild and come back more dominant and talented from the year before?? Have we been back to the finals since?? Did we build after loosing the playoffs? What have we learned that has carried into todays game?
