Hood has had a pretty luxurious defensive life, he has a lot of people doing work for him. The Jazz perform worse with Hood on the floor and the Magic perform better with Fournier on the floor defensively.Fournier is VERY similar player to Hood. He is probably a bit more consistent but, he does the exact same things and has been worse defender than Hood for most of his career. I really don't see what people see in him that they clamour for him in one sentence and then trash Hood in the next. They are the same player! AND Fournier is paid 17M a year already... AND you have to give up asset to get him.

Fournier is also a much better facilitator.
Fewer >30 point games and fewer <10 point games (more consistent). Better eFG%, PER, on/off net adjusted +/- (>10!!!).
I think they would both benefit from a change of scenery. It feels like there's baggage with Rodney at the very minimum and who knows what's thrown at him on the market.
