Vaping Illnesses

From what I understand the ban is not vaping per se but rather all the flavored products that appeal to younger users.

The one aspect that I find interesting is how rapidly some of these people become ill after they start vaping. Typically cigarettes take years to adversely affect the user in a major way. Vaping, in certain cases negatively affects users in a relatively short amount of time.
Here's the thing: I'm not young by any means, and the flavors are part of what attracted me.

You don't say Methuselah? One of the blokes I used to work with used to love his vape, think he was on 16mg? Or was it 30mg? He used to sport some interesting flavours. I tried it and didn't like it, figured I was better off just giving up (Like I did with life...) and with a pack of Stuyvesant's costing 40 bucks (Price went up on the 1st of Sep, think 45 bucks might be the current price) a pack I'm saving between 400 and 500 dollars a fortnight.

You just threw fortnight in there to mess with us, didn't you? I mean, you don't actually call it that in real life, do you?

Also... $40/pack!!?!?!?!!?! Even with the exchange rate, that's still $10 USD. (I kid, in some areas, they actually ARE $10/pack or more, with taxes.)

I'm doing 3 or 6 mg, I go back on forth, but it matters how it's done and how it's measured, it's not always comparable.

And the price has gone up since!

Yes fortnight is common parlance.

Since I've quit smoking and greatly reduced my drinking I'm about 2500 bucks a month better off.

Yeah, my wife also loves the flavors.

I told her at the worst this would just mean she got flavorless juice and would have to add flavor to it.

It often seems that the smokers around here are those with the lesser paying jobs, and I've never understood how they can afford it. I'm grateful I never picked up the habit and instead get to waste my money on chocolate.

I know a lot of blue collar folks that smoke that make a pretty good living. Some make $20+/hr. I also know a number of people on the other end of the spectrum...

I feel like 20+ per hour is still a lesser paying job.
