In your opinion. I never went on a flashlight tour and I've always enjoyed it. I've also gone with friends and family who came out to see me that say the same thing. It really is a unique place worth seeing. It's not the most exciting place in the world, but definitely worth going. I love the architecture and the Victorian style of it. Very nice.
Whatever dude. All I'm saying is that I don't think it's anyone's dream Northern California vacation to hang out where Sirkickyass goes to buy pants.

Oh, OK, you may be right. My recollection from when I was there was simply that the house was made that way because of a crazy rich lady and her own mental illness, not that anyone else had had "spirit sightings".

The thread is supposed to be telling her where she might like to go while in SF. I told her I didn't think one of your options was worthwhile because it's just a mall (which it is). This isn't a personal assault. This isn't designed to be an ego throwdown. It's included in a list of shows and a suggestion for a place she can eat in San Mateo.
But tell you what, since your fixation with our apparent feud has devolved down to this level where you want to fight me on whether or not it's worthwhile to go to Santana Row on vacation I will make you the following peace offering. I will go to Santana Row right now and buy a pair of pants. I will run up and down the aisles of the department store where I buy those pants and I will repeatedly scream out "I do this in the name of Archie Moses!" I will buy a pinkberry in your favorite flavor and eat it while thinking about your adoring face. I will catch a movie at CineArts and criticize it with your tastes in mind. And I will eat at Straits Cafe and ogle women on your behalf.
Maybe then you will realize that I have no real interest in fighting you about where jazz_fanatic should go on vacation.
