Warriors and Jazz Mega Trade

VSlice is upset according to twitter because we didn't re-up Sap.

Could not care less, personally speaking

If Rush is ready opening day our starting line-up should be:

Burke
Rush
Hayward
Favors
Kanter

I wouldn't be surprised if Ty finds a way to sneak Jefferson in there though. I'll even say there's an outside shot he tries to get Biedrins out there with Favors.

What I love about Brandon Rush is he can play the 2 or 3. He has a 6-11 wingspan.

Love vslice. One of the best around. But Did he consider Sap secretly said In meeting i don't want to come back. Move on.

I've told him this like 3 times now, via twitter. It's obvious that Sap didn't want I come back, despite the Jazz wanting him back

But I agree with you otherwise. I think this is the first time I have ever disagreed with him on something

Because of this trade.......

All of our young guys get big minutes.
We get Rush(6-11 wingspan) who is a very very good shooter and above average defender (better than anyone we could of got left in free agency)
Expiring contracts that give us flexibility to sign who we want next summer.
Expiring contracts that we could also trade for something of value.
2014 - 2017 1st round draft picks (unprotected)
multiple 2nd round draft picks.

All for Kevin Murphy?

No reason to complain on this one. Its pretty sweet actually. This roster is idiot proof for Corbin so he knows who to play. lol But who knows I could underestimate Corbin.

Remember Jazz Fanz whining and complaining about something doesn't make you smart. :)

I think this is the "unsung hero" of this deal.

I predict Lindsey will trade away at least 1 of the expiring contracts right at the trade deadline - and go into "full tank mode" for the remainder of the season.

That would be my plan anyway... we'll see.

People complain the Jazz are conservative and never make a move then they do and complain about that. Some people just like to complain and not be happy and/or only want things exactly the way they want it and nothing short of that will keep them from crying (like a spoiled kid).

Personally at first I wasn't in love with this trade but once all the details came out and trying to keep GSW's perspective of this deal I don't think it is a bad deal, obviously a better deal if you could have included Barnes (who I like but think he's being over liked/valued by some here based on him playing PF in the playoffs) but hard to argue 2 unprotected picks, that 2017 pick is so far out it could be like the NYK's pick from PHX, hard to predict being so far out.

As for Rush I remember lots of people being high on him before last years injury and hoping the Jazz could sign him and if he doesn't work out fine he's expiring as well.

Rush will have some value to a contending team if he performs like in 2011, 50% FG 45% 3PT% is very rare from a SG. Coming back from an ACL is never easy though.

I was just reading Brandon Rush's Wikipedia page. Has he really had three ACL surgeries? The Wikipedia article mentions 2007, 2010 and then there is the one from last year as well.

The article mentions 2 injuries. 2007 and 2011.

There's just no pleasing you people. Haha jk

I kind of feel like this was the move Lindsey was saying that would make jazz fans cringe a little. I have to admit I cringed, but I now see the bright future ahead.
