If the picks stay in the mid-20's then we didn't accomplish much...unless the Jazz can trade up by combining picks. But that's going to be hard to do next year; those top 6-7 picks are going to be VERY valuable. And forget about trying to trade up from #3 to 1 or 2, That ain't gonna happen. In terms of payroll, it's a wash, I think. Jazz would have to pay the difference between floor and actual. This moves handcuffs what we can do at the deadline, so who knows if we could have gotten better assets in return. AS for the picks, there are usually 1 or 2 teams willing to sell a late 1st, just like what happened this year.

As for the pics, they are just more assets, man. Plus, you never know what will happen by 2017 and Iggy does very little for them, IMO. As has been said, they are one injury prone player away from walking the line between 8th seed and lottery.
