If we can neutralize our best player then we can beat the second best team in the league!I dont know if there is a worse take than "the Jazz need to figure out how to do it without Gobert".
That’s how it works!

That's an idiotic way of thinking. You first try to see if you can win with Gobert. But if we are still getting blown out near the end of the 3rd quarter of the 2nd game, then you test out a new strategy before heading home for game 3.No, you play Gobert. Jazz can't go away from their biggest strength. You win or lose with Gobert. You arent benching (or playing him less minutes) your star player to experiment with lesser talent.
They key moving forward in the coming years is to marginalize Gobert as much as possible. If we can neutralize our best player then we can beat the second best team in the league!

No, then you play Gobert some more. Then you play Gobert some more. You try out Gobert shooting some 3's before you bench or significantly decrease Gobert's minutes. That's an idiotic way of thinking. Nah, people call you an idiot. No, then you play Gobert some more. Then you play Gobert some more. You try out Gobert shooting some 3's before you bench or significantly decrease Gobert's minutes.
We have somebody calling for the benching of Rudy Gobert, but people still call me a contrarian?
Nah, people call you an idiot.
I"m not too mad. Unless the Jazz can play over their heads and force the Rockets into not playing to their level, the Rockets are simply a better team. It pains me a bit to say that, but the truth is the truth.
Guess we can say the Hood-for-Crowder trade has worked out for the Jazz.
