The Hotel can be fun, as long as you do the upstairs part and not the little Mexico party that goes on downstairs. The Huka Bar is pretty chill, I don't smoke myself but it's a fun place to just hang out. You get some weird *** people at The Complex and The Depot, not as much my scene, although Chris Benoit's DJ'ing is pretty good. If I want to watch a bunch of girls who think they're attractive trying to seduce me with their moves, I'll go watch some amateur porn and avoid the diseases. In all seriousness though, they can be fun if you're in THAT kind of a mood, but I'm not a huge dancer so it's a rare thing for me. If anything I'll do the 80's night here and there where it's people my own age and aren't a bunch of cougars all over the place. Haven't been to the Skybar, but I'd like to try it. There's the W Lounge, another pretty chill place. A lot of the actor/model people go there, that's how I was introduced to it. There's a lot of fun restaurant/hang outs up in Park City plus they have the Alpine Slides, Ziplines, and all that stuff, it's just a little out of the way.
I'm still new to being 21, so I'm no expert on the bars out here, but there's a lot of fun places to hang out and adventure. Geocaching in Salt Lake is a blast, whether you go to Memory Grove, the SLC Cemetary, and a few of the smaller parks out there. And then there's always the scary/haunted/abandoned places like Heritage Park (this place is trippy at night), Gravity Hill, Hobbitville, Ted Bundy's place, The Old Mill, the rubble lot from the burned down house where the cult members died off of Wasatch, the abandoned mental hospital, the devil worshipers on the roof...all of that fun stuff.
We're not the best club/party place in the world, but there's a lot to do and see here that can be a lot of fun. Plus we have some really cool, personal music venues that provide great shows.
