Do you seriously believe that every facility in America needs to be built to accommodate every single person, no matter how small a percent of the population they represent? I don't have a daughter, but I don't want kids showering with kids, either. I don't care what their sexes are. I think there should be private shower stalls. I've never been into this community orgy shower situation. I realize that there are open showers in schools. I don't think there should be and I never thought there should be and I've never understood why it was ever okay to do it that way.

You have got to be kidding. There are community showers at virtually every high school in Utah. There are community showers at the hockey rink I play at. There is a community shower at my gym. I have a hard time believing that you have not come across lots of community showers in your lifetime. Also, even in the non-shower area of the locker room people frequently take all of their clothes off. I really don't care whether that happens in a men's locker room, and if there are women who want to be in there I guess that's their choice, but I cannot think of a single good reason that someone older than 5 who has a penis should be in the girl's or women's locker room. The proponents of these rules clearly want that to happen.

I realize there are community showers at places. As an adult I don't have to, and I do not, use them. I don't like them. I never have. I don't think school kids should be forced to use the community showers at all, ever and I don't think they should have been built as open community showers. Make individual stalls with curtains. Like I said, even on Navy ships they have individual shower stalls, and Navy ships have precious little spare space for such luxuries.

Yes, I am fine with gay boys in the men's locker room and gay girls in the women's locker room. That's where they've always been and it's where they belong. Why change this?

Have you never been in the men's room and seen woman walk in? My thought is "welcome to the party, but please don't try to use a urinal". On the other hand, I have daughters. What happens when a transgender wants to shower with them? Apparently everyone else needs to accommodate so that this very small minority who are confused about their gender can feel comfortable. Seems completely backwards to me.

I'm sorry but I won't discuss this issue anymore. I have been called a bigot too many times. Im done.
