What Has Kanter Done To Be In The Dog House

I thought this was "the year of discovery", and not "win every game you can with vets year". Kanter was playing well in Miami, and yet he only gets 16 minutes. Monson and Checkettes both said last night on the radio that Dennis Lindsey spelled it out clearly by not resigning Paul Millsap. And yet, Ty doesn't get the message and is trying to achieve the 20 something wins and not develop young players.

Ty has done everything he can to destroy Kanter's confidence and yank him at the slightest mistake. I understand about Marvin Williams spreading the floor, but he probably won't be on the team next year and Kanter is a #3 pick that we invested so much time in just to be a back up center? If that's the case, we might as well trade him while we can still get something for him and call him a bust.

He was born too late.

(he is only 21, marvin is like 28..... nuff said)

I'm still waiting for DL to take this tanking thing up a notch or two and unleash Ty as a player/coach. As a super-vet he will get his fair share of minutes and touches. Tank city, baby!

You could make the argument that he's pulling him to protect him. You could also make the case that Kanter needs to figure out how to play through his own problems more than he needs to be protected.

But the bottom line is the Jazz play very poorly when he's on the floor. Which I'm fine with, I just hope that doesn't shatter his confidence because I like him and want him to be a piece moving forward.

And for the record, Kanter is dead-last in +/- on the team. It's not even close. That includes Lucas III.

This is the least entertaining season I've been through. The only things left to cry about are Kanter sucking it up, Burks not starting but getting 30 mpg and finishing, and some odd stuff about Hayward that's never put forward coherently.

We used to have some clever trolls but this group stank. All that's left is a handful of Akirac's and Eenie-Meenie's set on repeat. Y'all need new material.

Kanter should head to the Development League for half a season and feel the warm fuzzy feeling of having monster numbers on the board once again.

He looks like he has forgotten the taste of it. He grows his pair back and comes back to kick some ace.

But now the people are saying that he is not going after some rebounds because Ty yells at him not to?!?

Friggin nuts if true.

It's totally true. He's having him act like a poor rebounding guard. Face up and just keep your man from getting the ball instead of going after it. It's ridiculous.

My stance has never waivered.
START THE CORE 5 and i will cease to complain about Ty.

Yet they have started zero games together...... I expected them to all be starting every game and instead i get a bunch of starts by Jeffy (every game) and marv.

He doesn't have the athleticism to "go after it" He needs to box his man out.
