If the league came to us and gave us our 2026 pick back in return for not tanking, would you do it?

What does not tanking even mean? I would like to see the young guys play regardless. I think it has a net positive effect on development (unlikely to have a larger effect either way), but I'm also just more interested in seeing how the young guys are progressing than watching the vets play. I think Cody helps us lose but I am also more intrigued to see him play and try to do stuff than I am a vet. And then there are other things like watching Lauri's minutes. If we were actually competing for a playoff spot, I'm not sure I'd be playing him this many minutes. Playing the young guys and monitoring Lauri's minutes are two things that are presumably under the tanking umbrella, but I'd probably want to do those things with or without pick protections.

Personally, I don't care too much about a few more wins and I think we can get to a safe spot if we do actually do those things. I wouldn't want to give up the increased odds at a top 4 pick.
