That list of podcasts is sure to be surprising to some people.

Sound a like something a liberal hippy marxist would sayMany of my friends and family are conservative. I have conservative leanings. I respect actual conservatives. It’s the GOP that I despise. It’s Trumpers who I wish could be snapped out of existence. They truly have nothing to offer except for mindless authoritarianism.
But I thoroughly enjoy listening to conservatives. My favorite follows on twitter are Bill Kristol, Tom Nichols, Rick Wilson, and Jennifer Rubin. All are conservatives.
While I don’t agree with everything on the Bulwark, I think liberals and conservatives aren’t as far apart as the media portrays them to be. Liberals/Democrats aren’t the enemy that Fox News and republicans make them out to be. However, I honestly do think that Trump and the GOP is at least as bad if not worse than what they’re portrayed by the media as being. In fact, I think the media has let them off way too easy. Could you imagine Obama or Clinton getting away with just 1/1000000000th of the **** Trump gets away with daily?

Nailed it.Well, I’m also a globalist. I believe in immigration. And I harbor no ill feelings towards Muslims or Jews. So I guess I’m a liberal hippy Marxist who enjoys AOCs tweets and a leftist globalist cuck that needs to be red pilled.
You’re a commie Marxist leftist normie I see.
I really enjoy Bill Kristol as well. It’s hard to believe that he used to be a regular conservative on Fox News and now is seen almost as a “liberal pariah.” He really hasn’t changed much. I agree with most of his takes. But it’s almost like people like he and Sykes are in the minority these days by actually keeping their values and beliefs.
The one with Mark Salter was really good as I recall. But now I think I might be confusing it with the one with David Jolly. So listen to both?! Sorry!
I remember them talking about immigration and how in politics before both sides of the political spectrum had a wink and nod understanding on topics like immigration. So that’s what Salter talked about. So I’m pretty sure that’s the one you might really enjoy.
I forgot to mention, the one with Kim Wehel is really good too. I put a hold on her book at the library. She discusses things related to the Supreme Court, constitution, and rule of law. She definitely makes as case against Trump and his trampling or democratic norms.
Sorry I couldn’t be clearer. I listen to the Bulwark at least every other day and I recently deleted a bunch of past episodes and I’m struggling to recover them. If I knew how to use my iPhone better I’d probably be a better help.
I haven’t to lawfare. Going to have to try that one. I enjoy 538 too although I havent listened to them as much over the past 6-8 months. Probably should
Neoconservatism is the most disastrous political movement in the last 50 years. It revitalized imperialism, gave us the second war on Iraq, promoted torture, lionized Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin. But I guess blind hatred of Trump is enough to embrace incompetent hacks and raging neocons like Bill Kristol and Jennifer Rubin.
Thriller, are you sure nothing bad overall happens in USA for people similar like you, if hypothetically 100 million of white conservatives (who in general would vote somebody from the GOP) would be replaced by 100 million Han chinese who are also Xi Jinping fans and have a mentality "China must grow large" assuming you believe that mass immigration do not harm local lifestyle?Well, I’m also a globalist. Uhh... did you read the fine print in my mission post? I actually served from 1989-1991, and am 48 now. Also, read the Bulwark article I linked to before spouting off like that. The whole point of the article is that Democrats should NOT take those extreme positions or they won't have support from anti-Trump Republicans such as myself.
