What's new

Why is this off-season lasting so damn long?

David Locke: Both Raul Neto and Trey Burke are in town. Jazz players continue to spend lots of time in Salt Lake City in the off-season.

It's good to see that so many Jazz players are coming and going from SLC. They all seem invested in improving this team and themselves.

Trey Burke is in Miami, he just posted a picture from his hotel on IG.

Well yeah, summer did kind of fly by. But you know how when you're young time seems to move much more slowly than when you're old? Well I'm solidly middle-aged so time is moving pretty good.
As a kid, it seemed to me that time went way slower when there was something exciting waiting at the end...like Christmas. I swear, from the day after Thanksgiving to December 25th took about 3 months (in Kid time). Now as an adult, Christmas seems like it's a couple days after Thanksgiving.

The summer is taking forever because everyone is truly excited about this Jazz team (which hasn't really happened in a long time). Bascially, it's like waiting for Christmas and we're all 7 year olds...

The season better start soon or Jazzfanz will end in a massive fight, just like marriage seems to do so often. We need basketball so we can all be good bros again.
