Was he obsessed with her? I haven't been following this ordeal too closely, lol.

I never said she was a POS; she may or may not be. Other than looking at her Instagram pics one day for about 15 minutes I know absolutely nothing about her. But I think we've all seen this before - she's not an actor, she's not a singer, she's not a dancer - she's only known for her looks. This is how people like this stay relevant.

Well all we know is the cops were called to an incident. There is no report. For all we know SHE was the aggressor.

I hope this isn't true. But I also hope that posters to this discussion board don't embarrass themselves and this board in general by resorting to the same good ol' boy old tactics of attacking the accuser or questioning her motives. Sadly, I already see it going in this direction.

Women and other people who are victims of sexual harrassment or abuse don't follow some script dictated to them by men or by irrational fans of some sports team on how they should act, when they should report it, how they should feel, what actions they should take, etc. This woman and her charges deserve to be taken seriously until there's a good reason they should not. So far, I don't see that, and neither do any of you. So please don't take this direction one might, sadly, expect it to take.

At the same time we've seen many times pro athletes being targeted by women looking for attention and money. Then look at the timing and the reasons for filing charges, which I mentioned in an earlier post. I also mentioned not understanding people's logic in how they handle things. If it was so important for her to keep other women safe from men who beat women, then she shouldn't have waited a year. If he's guilty he should get what's coming to him, but he's innocent until proven guilty last I checked.

This speaks volumes.

Ever since the OJ Simpson case, California has passed the strictest domestic violence laws in the country. It is almost impossible for any couple to call the police without one party at least being arrested over night, often both parties are temporarily incarcerated. Even in a lot of baseless cases the police will often arrest a party and push for charges only to have those charges later dropped by the DA. Virtually 90% of all domestic violence arrests in California end up with the district attorney dropping completely or lowering the charges. The cops usually make arrests in these situations largely as a CYA, so that if something does happen later on or eventually - no one can say that the police showed up and did nothing. Again the fact that the police were called, and no arrests were made, and even further no report was even written - speaks volumes.

If she's so concerned about her safety while Withey's in L.A. wouldn't she stay with a friend or leave town? If I were in her shoes (not literally speaking because I would probably trip and fall wearing heels) and if Withey really is a violent guy I would assume pressing charges against him would royally anger him which would only increase the odds of him wanting to harm her.

I'm wondering if he's been in contact with her since the break-up and has been harassing her? If he has, I'm sure she would likely have proof. And if Withey has left her alone then I don't see why she would fear for her safety.

Also, one would think if she wanted to get away from him while she was with him, she wouldn't trash him publicly when he went on the date with another woman but would instead use it as an opportunity to get away from him/dump him. I hope the accusations aren't true and if they are Withey should be charged, but my gut is telling me something isn't right - like she wants to ruin him for cheating on her and she wants him to suffer further.
