If you don't want money is sports, turn it off, stop watching it, go for a walk, knit.
But, if you and millions of others DO participate, those who make it available, from the owners, to the players, to the janitors at the stadium deserve the increase from the money they generate.
Interestingly, the argument could be made that we have already hit peak sports and the money WILL come down from here. Esports are more accessible and the physical lottery part of the equation becomes more "democratized." I don't get it, but my kids would rather watch the Minecraft PVP championships than the NBA finals.
I'm done taking communism in a thread that should be celebrating Donovan Mitchell, though.
