Would you forgive Ainge

The Deron debacle was the fault of the front office.

As for hindsight, I don't want to go into "what-ifs". Everything happens for a reason if you are one of faith. I choose to believe that we have a bright future because we showed patience through the dark times.

So much to be positive about. Lets Go Jazz.

Ainge is ruthless and he knows what he needs to do to make his team good, and I believe he would trade hayward in a split second, but I also have reason to believe that Hayward and stevens have a bit of a hard on for each other. I think Stevens would be very very opposed to trading hayward for anything. Trading hayward for anybody would in my opinion create a rift between stevens and ainge. I personally think Kyrie Irvin is being shopped on the low.

I agree. He is the ball stopper and they have shown they can do just as well with less costly options. Can't keep everyone.

Watch Ainge get Kemba Walker and the Hornets pick out of Charlotte.

I don't fault Ainge for making the best team he can. But the thought of Ainge shipping Hayward off to Cleveland to play with washed Hill and Hood again... along with JR "I thought we were ahead" Smith and Tristan Kardashian would pleasure the pettiest parts of my soul. 100 bonus points if Brad Stevens approves the trade.

What is there to forgive? If I were Ainge, I’d do that, so why would I be mad at him for a no brainer move
Ainge refused to do a sign and trade. That cost the Jazz a huge trade exception that would have allowed us to get a very good player or recoup assets. I am far more angry at Ainge than Hayward. I would not be surprised or forgive Ainge if he did this. From the Hayward perspective I would love it though. Boston is now my #1 hated team and this would make them great. I hope bron goes to Phily and keeps Boston just out of reach of the finals.

As bad as the whole thing was, Ainge was under no obligation to us to do that. Whether you hate Ainge or not, you have to respect the job he's done in Boston. From Hayward's standpoint, it would be bitter irony. He probably succumbed partially to the romance of reuniting with his college coach, only to have the injury (ouch), sit the year, be ready to come back to live his nostalgia trip, only to be dealt to a Cavs team that would be looking to blow it up post LeBron.

Ainge was under no obligation but he was an enormous jerk about it. There is such a thing as building and maintaining good relationships. He has ties to Utah and he screwed us over. Plain and simple. Jazz tried for Crowder but he was too good of an asset. I can understand that. Ainge could have done us a solid by taking Hayward, Tomic, and a second for a scrub or second. No cost to Boston at all to help cut our losses. Since he chose not to help us out. I choose to want Boston to fail in everything they do.
