Would You Trade Favors for Cousins?

Are. You can make the excuse that Cousins is stuck with a bad team but **** like that is why they suck. Cousins can't fight through adversity.
I think Demarcus is mentally weak on the court. I dont really care about his off the court stuff. I dont want a player who gives up when his team isnt winning as much as he likes or other problems comes up. Make all the excuses you want but if a player takes plays off frequently and does not play defense when the season gets hard I dont want him on my team.
Favors is a better defender. Favors is hard working and is showing improvement. Favors wants to be here and wants this team to win. Favors is a more efficient scorer than Cousins. Maybe cousins is a better rebounder but Favors has bigs playing next to him that are good rebounders and wing players who rebound well. I think Cousins numbers are skewed. Kanter, Favors and Al Jefferson are more efficient scorers than Cousins. Give any three of those the number of shots he is getting and they score more points.
I am not saying its lopsided, I think its close but I choose no. I take Favors over Cousins.

I think an important angle to consider is if this would still be Hayward's team (because it actually is, now) and if Cousins would be cool with that. I don't think Cousins should be the leader/identity of a team, so maybe in that regard, it would work.

Favors is turning into a really nice, well-rounded big. Cousins is a ****ing force of nature (both good and bad). I guess it depends on what you think you need more. For Sacramento, they probably could afford to turn down the insanity going on there.
The two biggest things Cousins has on Favors is FT's and passing.
Cousins gets to the line like a monster and converts. That really makes up for his, at time, piss poor shot selection. Without his FT's, Cousins would be an extremely inefficient big. Favors will never get to the FT line 9 times a game like Cousins, but it would help a lot if he started hitting around 75% (easily possible).
Cousins is an elite passing big man, which Favors never will be.
Those are the only 2 things I really think Cousins has without a doubt on Favors. I wouldn't be surprised if Favors is nationally considered as good as Cousins by the time they are both in their late 20's because Cousins will still be sulkking somewhere on a **** team and Favors will be winning rings.

Favors is already more efficient than Cousins, just not as high volume. If Favors could get to the line, and keeps improving his jump shot, there is no reason he couldn't be a 20 ppg scorer. Cousins is the better rebounder and passer for sure though. But Favors passing is improving steadily.
