He just had hit his wall. He will come back. Not every player hits his wall during sophomore or rookie year.

Yeah, I kind of figured he would have the year he is having. He is doing great, but there is no noticeable "leap" and the problems he has always had are still present.
 
I'm watching Enes' team too and serge is not looking well lately. Doesn't mean he sucks instantly but anyone who never saw him before would say he does. Or if he played for the Jazz he would already have his multiple trade threads.

btw How is Simmons going to fit in with Okafor, Noel and Embiid .... a whole frontline that cant shoot more than 8 ft from the basket ??

Embiid can shoot outside a little.... I would think he could shoot as good as favors
 
They did a study where they found that people are obsessed with potential more so than actual results. The case is no different here on jazzfanz.

However, we should not trade either for Simmons even if we could because:
1) We are an Exum away from being a good playoff team.
2) We are a developed Exum away from being a really good playoff team.
3) If Exum does develop, we are a good free agent away from winning a championship. And we would be able to get a good free agent if we are winning.

We have our core. Now is time for a bit of patience and development. Not throwing it away for "potential".

He's not on Simmons level of passing, but he's still a good passer. Plus he's vastly more athletic, a better shooter, and MUCH better defender. Can seamlessly play/lock-down SG or SF.

Silly *** thread seeing how NO GM in the world would trade the pick for Gobert or Favors. Wouldn't even do it if you combined the 2 and try to get the number 1 pick
