Johnstockalypse responded to the "criticism" that he's between 14-16 by, predictably, acting his age. Complete with font size and color changes for emphasis.

Sirkickyass responed to the "criticism" that he dates fat ugly chicks, predictably, exactly the way someone who dates fat ugly chicks would. Complete with pretending he did nothing to instigate it.

True to form, Millsapa then neg repped me for this post (which actually supports something she's always complaining about: that she's not a duplicate account). She did so with the cryptic comment "One Nation Under God." Of course, that wasn't part of the pledge of allegiance until the 1950's so I'm not certain why it's relevant, unless your point is that the nation was Godless until the 1950s, but that's another story.

For whoever just wants to understand it all a little better, when I first found "Milsapa" doing her version of Ann Coulter in chat forums I was just charmed with her spunk for saying a lot of things a lot of us would be too busy trying to conform to the fads and trends in popular political thought. I thought it was great to have another point of view. I frankly don't know what my point of view is, really, I just want to be free to have one---or change it when I like.

Kicky, I know you are a serious minded and dedicated person to the things you feel are right but I can also see how sometimes when you're not persuading judges about what they should do you are a bit rough of young folks who enjoy just being free. Still, a few posts back I thought you were getting pretty close to apologizing for making some personal comments, and the whole "partner in crime" phrase really could be improved upon.

Could we please get back to opening this up so some more folks can talk about why they would or would not vote for an "atheist". Just one more bit, really, no matter how devout some believers are it seems to me none of us really know much about God and might look to Him live serious disbelievers anyway. Thats what I like about some atheists, as I read them, they are trying to just be honest with themselves somehow.

You owe me an apology
You know why. Act like an adult.
It won’t let me send PMs but I told you I would apologize AFTER you apologize to ME.

Dude. My girlfriend reads the boards. She's an innocent third party that you're lashing out at for no reason.

The mature thing to do here is go back and take insults about her down. Prove me wrong about your maturity level.

My FRIENDS were innocent third parties too. You lashed out at THEM AND ME for NO REASON!!!!!!!! The mature thing for you to do would have been not to trash on people who have NEVER EVEN STARTED A CONVERSATION WITH YOU!!! I don’t know who the heck your girl friend is and am actually surprised you managed to get one considering how you’ve treated ME!!! If she’s not fat and ugly I doubt very much she would be insulted by what I said. If she is insulted she can blame YOU for instigating things for, again, NO REASON!!!!!!!

There are also some "believers" that are honest with themselves as well. It just depends on the person.
There are bad, or fake people that "believe in God".... but then again, do they really believe if their actions tell us otherwise?

Beliefs and core values are tied to thought, thought leads to words then actions. Those actions basically tell everyone around you who you are. You can say you believe something, but it has to come through in your actions for it to be true.

Because I believe in God, and I feel it is important to this nation, naturally I would want someone with similar ideas, and morals to lead this country. If that is not an option I would want the next best thing. I would rather have an athiest President with morals, and integrity that is trying to help this country than I would a fake religious person (or athiest for that matter) who is greedy and power hungry.

I think people tend to vote for people that have ideas, morals, etc... that are similar to their own because the odds are they will like more of that persons decisions over someone very different.

Even though I would personally lean towards someone that believed in God, that is just a general leaning because they would be somewhat similar to me. Would that person even believe in God the same way I do? I can't say how I would vote here because I would have to know which candidates were involved, know their policies and tendencies before I made the choice. I don't follow a party, but I try to vote by who I feel would best help our country, and often times I am voting for or against the people around a candidate as much as the candidate themselves.

I made a broad and general statement as well if that's the standard. I said the people he settles for, not "his current girlfriend."

Why did he feel it necessary to attack anyone at all? I hadn't said a thing to him. Nor have I ever without being instigated by HIM!!!! Why does he think he can say what he wants about others but I should be "mature" and remove MY comments?

I thought it was hormonal female teenagers who emphasis "him," meaning the boy that dumped her because he has the attention span of a SQUIRREL!
