Lets assume Philly loses either Butler or Harris. Let's also assume they have interest in Exum due to potential, friendship with Simmons, etc.

Philly gets Exum
New York gets 2nd rounders from Philly
Jazz get Frank Nkilitina

Philly gets a guy they want who isn't too expensive and still has potential.

NY has Frank on the block for 2nd rounders and space so they get what they want.

Utah gets Frank who is similar to Exum but much cheaper. Frank is very close to Donovan and is Gobert's France teammate. The extra $5+ in cap space allows us to build more depth for our very thin roster. And we would be able to keep Neto.

Lol frank and Dante the same please lol. Dante is like 20 times faster lol. U come up with terrible takes lol. But anything to to get him to 76ers I suppose

I said they were similar which they are. Both are athletic freaks who haven't panned out quite yet in the NBA. Exum is more proven, probably faster, but more injury prone. Frank is more raw, still an athletic freak, but 3 years younger (yep, he's still only 20 years old). The main difference - $5 million in salary. Exum makes that much more than Frank.

Personally, I would rather have Exum the player than Frank the player. HOWEVER, with Conley, we have major issues to address with our depth. I would rather have Neto, Frank and $4+ million than just Exum. We gotta address our thin depth.
 
So, Tony's comments since the Conley trade make me think that we just keep Favors and Exum and just fill out the remaining roster holes with our second round picks/available exceptions/vet min deals. Who could we get dirt cheap? Who are the possible diamonds in the rough out there?
 
Could Alex Caruso be available cheap? He could provide some much needed instant offense off the bench next to dedX in the backcourt. Slide Royce over to 3. We also need another bigger 3 & D wing.
 
If we are committed to Exum and Favors, our FO needs to come out and say it. I know they have said they like Favors, but if they want to end the speculation, just pick up his option.

I don't know if they have come out with anything clear on Exum either. For all we know, Memphis might have said no to Exum.

The new GM said they will be aggressive in free agency. If Exum and Favors are definitely coming back, we can't be that aggressive.

Coming out and saying it helps them not at all. It would just appease fan curiosity and give players closure. The landscape changes fast. Even if they plan to keep both guys, you never know what could happen in the next two weeks the changes your plans. Keeping JFC happy isn’t at all on their priority list.

Its not about making this forum happy. Its about the fan base. It's about the locker room.

I guess I'm just tired of the whole Favors seesaw thing. Either lock him up for a while or move the heck on.

Why should they? If they get an offer that benefit's them they'll take it. They don't and shouldn't give a crap what a bunch of arm chair GM's think. Remember this you are 100% irrelevant to their decisions.

The Favors seesaw thing is created by the fans. The organization has done nothing to think they aren't behind him. They don't care about the fan base with regards to this particular feeling, and they shouldn't. The locker room is fine as of the last we heard.
