yeah, I agree. That was such a big disappointment for me. I finally achieved a rep level of 2 and tried to give a partial rep - and the system wouldn't allow it.
Bummer.

but that's OK, I've learned to deal.

Only Trout hit me with negative rep after I asked for it nicely? I love that guy. I need some more though, neg reps only pack half the punch.

Does't she do a great job with those distinctive outfits. . . . you just know it's true class. Understated dignity that compels respect from all. For a while I was wondering if on some off chance, "Duck" might really be the Queen taking a break from all that tidy propriety and mingling with the commoners incognito.

Now here's a true Brit-style understatement:

Although there are scores of trumped-up legends in my family intended to subtly plant the seeds of belief that we are indeed a lost branch of the Davidic royalty, it has been my sad experience to see that indeed we share many of the same proclivities towards unduly impacting the world in truely meritless ways.

But I bet if the Queen invited me to dinner I'd find something nice to say. . . . .

Oh, and you did that within a week of making a thread about "cowards" not signing their neg reps. I didn't even know who you were at the time, guy. Honestly though, I'm over it. No, I just like teasing kicky about his "bimodal distribution" line as frequently as I can. Sorry to disappoint.
 
I like the idea of a simple sliding scale. It goes up a little faster at first, taking more and more points to climb as your rep goes up. It shouldn't take you too long to get from 1 to 4, but it should take a bunch to get from 10 to 12. I like the current tweak though. Can you tell us what the inner workings of the system is? Is it simply point thresholds for each rep power level or what?
