I haven't posted on the board since about late April. There are threads that have been started since I last logged in that do not show as new. Also, in some of these newly started threads, when I click on the "take me to the new post" button" it takes me to some random page of the thread. This functionality on the board has never had an issue.
Any ideas?

I'm not sure what you're asking, MoeMod. Could you be more specific?
Just some added info to this bug. It seems as though when I click on the "new posts" link it will always take to the bottom of the 3 page of the thread in question. Not sure if this helps at all.

my own experience is that occasionally quirky things happen - - like every so often a post I've made shows up again in the quick reply box at the bottom of the page
I probably use Tapatalk much more than I'm actually on my laptop, and the functionality differs with the app vs. the full web-based version.
One thing I've noticed (probably since the total reboot back in 2010 or whenever) is that the search function is far less user-friendly than it once was
sort of like what you're saying about being taken to a random thread - - at one time, when you'd search for something, you'd get the exact post where the search term appears - - now it seems you just get the thread, and then you have to use the "thread search" function to locate the specific terms you're interested in finding
so yeah...
All these issues have been happening while accessing the board via my home computer and NOT using TAT. I'm really interested to know what either Colton or King Admin think. It really affects the usability of the board in my opinion.
I haven't heard of that type of thing happening with anyone else. In the period where you were inactive could someone else have accessed Jazzfanz via your account? (Logged on through your computer or mobile device, that type of thing.) That's about the only thing I can think of that would explain it.
That's what I was thinking but that's just not plausible. No one else has my login credentials and I definitely did not log in and check those various threads...
The last time I had posted on the forum was around the end of April. So, check this out:
These are all posts on page 7 of the GD section and none of them show new or, rather, that they have new posts, though most decidedly do. It's just plain weird and mostly annoying. I've never experienced this before.
Did you install an upgrade to your browser or OS or anything? Do you have automatic updates? Because I know that often messes things up for me.

Reinstall chrome. That'll reinstall its java and probably solve a bunch of problems for you.
I'm with you. If you kill the app completely and relaunch from scratch, it sometimes works... I wish there was a better alternative. Maybe we just make the site itself more mobile friendly for Safari and Chrome.
