What's new

Jerry Sloan sells off all his tractors (Yahoo! Sports article about Sloan's life outside the NBA).

"Seriously. WTF is wrong with you?"

I would absolutely watch a non-working coaching legends reality show in which Jerry Sloan, Don Nelson, Lenny Wilkins, Larry Brown, and Phil Jackson all had to live in a house together.

Lenny would have no clue what was going on. Sloan would strangle someone. Larry would constantly be trying to get the producers to bring in new coaches in exchange for Lenny. Don Nelson would effectively be the Snookie of the situation, except with more alcohol and fried pickles. And Phil Jackson would be the guy trying to act above it all that still signed on for a reality show.

This would have to be better than Basketball Wives.

Does that make you the Phil Jackson of this site? Minus the success of course.

there ya go SLOAN! enjoy life, doesn't that sound good... his quote from the article "Adjusting to a non-schedule is sort of different,'' Sloan said. "There isn't anywhere I have to be.''

Not at shootaround. Not at a game. Not somewhere preparing for the playoffs.

Not on an airplane. Not at a hotel checkout desk. Not on a bus to this arena or that.

Usually the last thing a senior citizen says before they find them dead on their recliner while watching reruns of The Jokers Wild on the Game Show Network.
