If Varys pulls John aside and explains what happened, then Littlefinger will be toast. Varys could be the key to Littlefinger's demise, since he knows how Ned and King Robert were betrayed.
Lannister army is straight shook at this point though. Not easy to recover from this.

Tyrion despite fighting for Daenerys still loves his brother and Bronn. It would be nice if he would somehow convince them to switch sides - I assume they won't drown and will be captured. Or maybe they will use Jamie as bargain chip to convince Cersei to give up Kings Landing without fight?
