Al Jefferson is Vegan!

Easy to supplement. It might not be easy to stick to. So is any strict diet. I am sure more people have vowed to give up certain things like alcohol, sugar and lots of other things from their diet and quit. Most people quite 100s of different diets and meal plans.

It still is an invalid argument against it.

You are still missing main point - Evolution. We did not evolve to eat vegan. It's not healthy.
 
I worked with few vegan females. At one conference hosts served the most amazing roast beef ever. I went to the buffet twice to repeat it as it was so delicious. Than one of my vegan coworkers sits nearby and asks me - "So I see you enjoying this disgusting piece of carcass". I answered - "absolutely, you want some to try"?... to which she just walked away with sour face... probably deep inside she wanted it so badly...lol.

Most of the vegetarians I know rarely talk about it. Most of them didnt really like to eat meat which made it easy for them to give up.

Loud vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters are all equally obnoxious. I dont really care what you eat or how you eat, nor do I want your opinions on my eating habits.

It is healthy. You can claim evolution but as long as people eat properly they can be very very healthy as a Vegan. Yes they have to monitor what they eat just like everyone else does to be healthy.

You are missing the point in the fact that eating a vegan diet has been scientifically shown to be healthy.

The evolution argument is silly and unfounded.
 
We can eat lots of things and survive.

Any people forced to survive in wilderness depend on animal sources of protein. Be it in jungle, tundra, or mountains. You can survive few weeks without it but eventually if we talking months or longer your body will not do well.

It is most powerful argument which no vegan can deny. Take away artificial supplements and human body will develop fatal nutritional deficiencies on vegan diet. No other diets will do so much harm to human body.

Claiming evolution is simply just a word without meaning in this conversation it had no factual evidence of what we were or are. The only fact is you can be healthy and eat vegan. In many instances more healthy and live longer.

Good thing we evolved to the point of being smart enough to fortify our food to live longer and be healthier. Take away other fortified foods and many people would have health problems with or without meat or animal products. B12 can come from vegan sources FYI. There is a reason foods are fortified like iodine in salt.
 
Why are some of you so triggered by another person's decision to be vegan or vegetarian?

I have no issue with decisions at all and being vegetarian is certainly a healthy diet. I get triggered by vegan anecdotal claims that their diet is healthier then what 99.5% of people eat. I do respect vegans who do it for ethical reasons and accept that they need to be careful with it and supplement properly.

Please look at the last thread on this when I posted a bunch of them for you. Most show mixed results like I mentioned and find that people can live healthy with vegan diet. Vegetarian diets tend to show even more positive but still mixed.

Sure, that is why any time anyone mentions eating vegan you go on these incredibly dumb rants no one wants to hear.
