Updated the OP and discovered that the Jazz currently hold the 8th seed and 1st round match up with the Rockets. Own the tie breaker over the Thunder.

We never lose to Houston in the post-season. This is the best position for us.

I'd love to go at Houston in the post season. Get Gobert and Hood more playoff experience and baptize Mitchell by fire. Make the playoffs or go hard for the tank. I just don't want any of this 10-14th pick crap. All in, one way or the other.

Well, that worked out well. I was wrong, though. Wolves stepped up and won. What a disaster it would be for the Thunder to miss out on the playoffs this year...
