Can you clarify what do you mean by indisputable? To me that call is 100% block, Lebron is both leaning towards left and has not set his feet. Granted I am not an NBA ref ( did ref basketball though in amateur leagues)...but if 3 refs looking at the replay decided to overturn it I assume to them it was indisputable that it was a block and incorrect call needed to be overturned.
Well i think it was a charge. Steve Javie thought it was a charge. And others as well. If Javie thought it was a charge(other refs have too), then it's disputable.

But more than that. You review whether a guy's foot is on the line. Whether the ball is out of bounds. Those are objective calls requiring eyes- no judgement. Foul calls by their very nature are judgment calls- especially block/charge, its the hardest call to make for a reason, the biggest judgment call there is- as such those should never be overturned.

The exception would be if a foul was called on some guy who was 10 feet away from the dude who was "fouled"- then it becomes objective, no judgment and you could go ahead and overturn.

If you noted Javie rarely argues with original calls on the floor... I bet he was not expecting it to be overturned and was shocked that he picked the wrong side this time lol.

Smith needed to just own it. Everyone knows he didn’t know the game was tied. Based on his attempt to dribble out the clock. The look on his face as Lebron walked away from him. Lmao. Dude is dumb as ****. I love how he said he thought someone was gonna call a timeout. Lmao. How about stop dribbling and you call the timeout?

Was jr Smith the guy who shot at his own basket and got the rebound at the end of the game to pad his stats for a triple double or something?

Yep. And the dude who bought an armored car as a vehicle. And the dude who killed his best friend drinking and driving.

But you said in your post “to me that call is a block 100%”. That’s why it’s disputable. To YOU it’s a block. To those refs in that game it’s a block. To Seattle jazz fan it’s a charge. To Steve Javie it’s a charge.
It’s disputable.
It’s a judgement. An opinion.

Ricky Davis. But that’s very funny you mention that, because the first time I saw him play I thought he was really good and thought he could be an all star if he wasn’t such a moron. When JR Smith came on the scene, he reminded me of Ricky Davis in every way, and when younger he could have been one of the top SGs in the league if his head weren’t so far up his ***.

Speaking of that overturned call. I actually agree with MVP. It is a block, and not a charge. It is not a matter of opinion. Lebron was moving his feet and leaning into Durant's path. However, the review was about whether Lebron was in the restricted area, and NOT about a tough call that the refs have to make all the time. Then they overturn the call, eventho Lebron was not in the restricted area?

Has that ever happened? Is that even within the rules?

We discussed this already. Rule is kind of stupid. You can only trigger replay if you are concerned about player being in restricted area, but during review you are allowed to check if defender is in a legal defensive position. Lets say somebody tries to draw the charge by 3 pt line - it is not revievable lol.

I agree that it was a block but in real time and not slow mo, it looked like a charge, in real time i think the refs made the right call.

Uhm, you can move when defending and draw a charge. Where do you guys take this **** from that your feet must be planted? Defender must be in legal guarding position, that's it. Even Van Gundy explained it numerous times.

This.

The rule states:
“A player may continue to move after gaining a guarding position in the path of an opponent provided he is not moving directly or obliquely toward his opponent when contact occurs."
