Of course, "socialism" is just a societal construct invented by imaginative proponents of oligarchy based in ideological manipulations of the ignoramuses among us, presumed to be the majority by the elites who hope to rule the world personally through their lies.
Venezuela, North Korea, etc etc. "Successful" statist implementations of "socialism" in any of its variants all eventually come home to mama cartelism. Putin's Russia, Xi's China. I never did convince him that property rights are inherently necessary for any human rights at all, because of all the utilitarian needs of society along the way essentially devolving into the special property rights of the managers/elites, who will forever run the show.
bottom line, if humans do not have inherent human rights, we will always be ruled by the remorseless thugs with the bigger clubs.

Laissez-Faire in an ideal world. Ideal world doesn’t exist, so there does need to be some government regulation in the form of taxes, unions, etc. But the free market, economically, is great. It’s root ideas, provide a better product for a better price, is best for the consumer. In my experience, when people are getting paid regardless of the product quality, the product quality suffers.
I like the pure idea of socialism, I think the problem with that comes with human nature and the economics. If you can explain to me how you pay for it in America, I’m all ears.

Yup. However it is a user pay system and politicians know where their bread is buttered, so they shill for corporations without shame. In America I kind of expect it, but watching the Labour Party here act in the same way is honestly sickening.

Not only that but so as long as the war machine keeps running there’s no room for internal affairs. Healthcare could have been solved a long time ago had the US not got involved in so many wars in the middle east, for oil. Follow the money.
