if you like that one you should see my 2nd. Its a doozy.......

Welcome as you will see I am a Georges Niang believer... met him at summer league and he was super cool. There is also a good chance that my constant cheering for him during summer league landed him his current deal with the team.

I've taken to calling him Georges Niang "the future of basketball" it isn't catchy but I just throw it in anytime I talk about him and it seems appropriate.

We can come up with something better than just a play on his first name. I'm thinking a tag team name with him and Joe Ingles like "Wreck League". They both remind me of the dudes you play in the old man rec league that always end up beating more athletic looking teams.

I don't really know the story of Royce but it sounds intriguing. I'm not even certain what Royce you're talking about. The reason your post reminded me of @Red is that he joined the board because of his belief in a college phenom from his area, Bryce Cotton. Reading the things you said about Georges was a deja vu moment of his first post about Bryce. I became a big fan of Bryce and of Red (even though nowadays he posts almost exclusively about his severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome). I think it's cool when people follow players to the Jazz and give us insight we otherwise wouldn't have had.

I haven't yet seen enough to know if the name fits, but the Wreck League has all-time awesome potential!

A lot has to happen... Niang has to play... he has to play with Ingles... and they have to be good together.

I also like names that happen organically like Boom Bitches... so we will just let it breathe.

Careful bro, I hear franklin's drained vampire corpse is ready to be fed some fresh blood for an awaking. Word in the night is he's chomping at the bit for some Grayson Allen homers to start prowling. Maybe a resurrection of NAOS for some team hunting.

How long is NAOS’ ban?

Has Niang slapped a restraining order against you yet?

I'm on the Niang Gang.

Love that we have a dude as solid as Niang at the end of our bench. Hopefully the speed of the NBA game doesn't change his game. Our system should help him though.

No in fact he has given me a permitting order... his legal council told me I am allowed to irrationally Stan for him in all places of the interwebs

Really, you look at our bench and the only one perhaps not capable of contributing is Bradley - although Allen is an unknown. Even guys like Udoh, Neto and Niang could step in as needed. Do the Jazz have the deepest team in the league?

Super deep... even Bradley could fill in and give spot minutes at center imo. like if he had to play 10 minutes a game for 10-15 games to navigate an injury I don't think he'd kill us.

Why don't we change the thread title to Niang Makes First Team All Star or we Riot? Y'all talk like he's already guaranteed 6th man of the year award. Ill wait for him to play at least one game before anointing the 15th roster spot a solid contributor.
