Dante Exum Averages .2 Steals Per Game

Exum haters on this forum are
A R S E H O L E S !!!
Exactly. I found it funny none of the exum haters were posting anything today. It's so funny. Usually all they say exum is terrible ect. When he plays really good no one says anything. It's strange they really don't want Dante to succeed

Exum is a good man defender, but that's the extent of his impact. He can play very good D on 1 player. He isn't Gobert, a guy who impacts everyone defensively. He impacts one guy. That's his value. Against some teams, like the Rockets, who really rely on one person to do everything, it's super useful.

His offense impacts the team in the half-court, in a negative way. If Exum isnt pushing pace for early baskets, then he sucks the life out of the offense.
Like I said, Exum is super useful against the Rockets.

Lol. This guy.

Nobody is commenting because that blowout was like an exhibition, a summer league game. Starters were pulled early and nobody cared.

He's 23. He's about as strong as he's going to get.
Without working out most men peak at around 30. That can be pushed much later by lifting. There is no way he is anywhere near his max strength. He is in his prime age to get much stronger over the next 7 years.

Dante such a wasted talent. Incredible athlete. Trade him give him a chance. The only thing he's lacking is strength. When he gets stronger it's all over. He really doesn't need a shot cause he can get into the paint at will. Trade!!!
Uh, no. He is severely lacking a consistent jump shot. He needs to hit the three with consistency. He sucks off guard because he can't shoot. On the ball he is better but players can go under the screen or just back off and play the passing lanes.

If he ever gets that 3 point shot he will be really good. But that's an if. Same issue as his buddy Simmons. Neither will be really good without a shot.

Funny that you have two guys with the name Jazz in their names, but don’t GAF about the Jazz, complaining that everyone here wants to see Exum fail, when they’re licking their lips every time Donovan looks bad (because that somehow makes Simmons better?) and are rooting for the Jazz to fail without Exum (the same way Hayward was hoping the Celtics would lose without him), yet we, who are just hoping for Jazz W’s, get lectured about just being haters, acting as if their own nationality has no relevance to their irrational fanhood.

I’d like to know how Exum does in practice. If it’s just an enormous lack of confidence issue or if he shoots poorly in practice also. Anyone have any knowledge about this?

Our most used 5 man lineup is Rubio, Mitchell, Ingles, Crowder, Gobert. It's playing really well together just like last season. Their net rating is +12.6.

When you put Exum in for Rubio that lineup is our 12th most used lineup and is +17.9. Kind of small sample size though.

Most of our most used lineups are positive except the ones with Royce in them.

Our 5th most used lineup of Rubio, Mitchell, Ingles, Crowder, Favors is our best lineup with a decent sample size. It's +25.8. That probably increased after tonight's game.

Exum still sucks. But he crushed with those drives last night. His man-defense was crazy good.

Good question. It might be that he tenses up in games. I think he needs a breathing coach.

I have been hoping that Dante would make it, but it is impossible to see now. He has some serious talent, but a serious lack of skill and b-ball smarts to go with it.

Not certain, but that might have been negative before the Houston game.
