Raw? He was a 4 year starter at Duke.

So? A lot of players were 4 year starters and take time to develop. He was a 21st pick. Do you really expect him to come in and dominate, lol? He's a work in progress just like most that are drafted in the later rounds .

see his skill how? from his 33% field goal and 28 % from deep? let's not pretend we never see college shooters struggle in the NBA.

You mean the exact same numbers Donovan shot his first month? Give the kid a little time ****.

Well if he is in the NBA and was a first round pick after being a 4 year starter at a top 5 school I'd expect him to be little better than what he is and has been.

Of course. That said he isn't near good as everyone hoped.

Why mention 'everyone'? I had no illusions as to what I hoped he would be.

To me personally, the best I think he can be is 9th/10th rotational piece who can hit a shot and will give you some grit. Nothing more.

Against 18-22 year olds who are much smaller and slower than nba athletes, your point is what?
My point is he's been playing high level basketball for 5 years. It's not like he's going change much. He's too slow and short to play much. His play even at Duke was a guy who played hard a bit dirty, problem is in the NBA he isn't big enough to bully anyone.

With all due respect, youexpect too much.
Then what's the point of bringing in a 100 guys to workout for the draft. Lindsey really thought he was a good player that could help the team this year. Obviously he's not good enough to do so.

TBH, Mitchell never shot below 40%. And the so-called "kid" is already 23 yr old. He's supposed to be the more "NBA ready" player amongst this rookie class.

His first month he was 33/28, so you are wring

I doubt anyone thought he'd be a 6th man this year for sure. That said, when he comes in I have zero hope/faith in his game.

Yeah, people cant adjust to the speed of the game. You're probably right

Greyson is slow. He isn't quick. He wont ever adjust to game speed. Put Allen against any starting point in the NBA and he's toast. He's to short to play the 2 guard so he's going to have to play a majority of his minutes at the point.
