Utah Jazz 2018-19 Championship Bus CHOO CHOO

You lose two road playoff games and...

Jazz -3.0
Spreads usually have slightly different lines to straight line bets as the payout is variable depending on the result (e.g. a $1 bet on a -3 line and the Jazz cover it by 5 = $5 return, whereas if they cover it by 10 you get $10 return, vice versa on losses), but -3 isn't as good as I was hoping if the spreads end up similar.

I just assume most Americans are still learning about betting lol, Pointsbet doesn't have spread odds up yet only fixed odd markets.

edit: nvm just checked they got Jazz -4 which sucks. Was hoping they'd be dogs at home for juicy odds.

Over 25.5 points for Mitchell seems like a really solid bet tbh. If he can't show up at home the series is done, and I'd expect him to bounce back after last game.

I still contend Mitchell has not been the same player he was last season. Last season he showed an array of offensive moves we just haven't seen at all. Not sure how many times I was watching and hoping for him to spin middle or euro-step left or whatever, where that move was very much available to him, and he just put his head down and drive straight into the defender chucking up some ugly shot. Where did all that go? And no, it's not just changing defenses. This if happening when that move is there for the taking, but he doesn't take it. Almost like trying to get fouled is on his mind more than getting to the basket.
I see him attempt those moves regularly. Many of them get stuffed or result in a turnover. Players watched tape on him.

The NBA isn't easy.

Oh it's not? Thanks for letting me know. I mean I didn't watch anything I just relied on, you know, like guessing and stuff.

As I said, there have been many times those moves are available to him that he doesn't take them. Sure they've adjusted to him and taken it away as well, but even when that moves there he isn't attempting it as he did last year.

Last post i'll have until the game today-- and i'm not sure if this has already been said-- but much of our offensive woes are hinging on Ingles at this point.

He is refusing to take on Capela one on one. He has the ball, backs up, drives two steps, and then picks up his dribble.

If he can't manage to beat Capela to the rim for a lay-up, or at least get a three off via pull-up/step-back, this series is going to be a sweep.

As for Donovan, he's getting doubled; when he gets swarmed after those picks he is missing the roll man every single time. He's just short, he isn't seeing above those hands.

Rubio is getting to the rim and putting up more shots than usual, which I suppose is a minor plus. Rudy is getting *some* putbacks, as is Favors.

But yeah-- I don't think Mitchell is going to learn how to hit those roll-passes in this series (maybe ever); but I think Ingles can learn to grow a pair. He needs to, or we stand no chance. I've never seen Ingles play worse against a team since he's joined our team.

Figure the offence out, that's the goal of this game.

Well, I disagree. And if he's trying less, it's because it's working less.
