I know some people were under the impression that Favors was part of the Conley deal and that's part of the reason why the Jazz turned it down.
If we supposedly also weren’t giving up Exum, how the hell were we getting enough salary in that deal?

I give you that, though I think the draft is weak and we may trade our pick. I think we can find a better talent via the draft or free agency.

I guess it would've worked with Rubio, Thabo, Udoh and maybe Neto and Bradley? I'm not really sure.
*Two first rounders. If we would have gotten Conley for Rubio ($14.8), Thabo ($5.25), Udoh ($3.36), Bradley ($1.7) and a 1st rounder, that would have been one of the most amazing trades in Jazz history. We literally would have traded spare parts, Rubio and a very late first for a very good PG.
But now I know why Memphis didn't do it...
Who are you referring to Rubio or all of them ? Rubio is heart broken I doubt he comes back. But I fear he does since he is the only pg we can convince to play here.True. I just feel that if we let Rubio, Thabo and Udoh walk, we will still need to fill the roster with capable, cheap players. With a salary so low, it's pretty low risk/potential high reward to keep him around for next season.

We were offering two first rounders. We wouldn't give 2 1sts though right?
If shooting is the most important skill. The jazz are in trouble U have Donovan who showed how good he shoot against the rockets.Exum didn’t have a whole great series against Houston last year. He had one really good game on defense on Harden. One. People need to get over this clown. He’s built like a ****ing awkward *** praying mantis with an injury history to support that notion. He’s a guard who can’t ****ing shoot to save his life in a league where shooting is perhaps the most important skill right now. He might have a great first step but he finishes as oddly and crappily as our other guards. The kid sucks and Dennis Lindsey needs to get this through his ****ing skull.
Have you bothered to compare Donovan’s shooting numbers on high volumes to Dante’s numbers on low volumes? If shooting is the most important skill. The jazz are in trouble U have Donovan who showed how good he shoot against the rockets.

What man can conceive he can achieve. Dream Big, big guy!
(I'm kidding. I concede I'm pretty ignorant to the salary cap and the market for some of these guys)
Hmm... I guess I always thought it was two first rounders. If we could have landed Conley for a first, Rubio, and Exum? WTF? Too much overvaluing our assets. We never offered two first rounders, we offered one first and one second. Memphis wanted either another first rounder or Exum and DL refused.
It's not much difference. And quin has never let Dante play to succeed so far besides the time before he got injured. Another thing is Donovan has the green light to shoot 40 shots a game. It's easy to play like that no pressure make or miss.Have you bothered to compare Donovan’s shooting numbers on high volumes to Dante’s numbers on low volumes?
I actually like Donovan I think he has great potential but I'm pointing out the biggest problems the jazz have are at the top. You people say donovan is the jazz best player well it's not good enough for your so called best player to play so poorly in the playoffs. So I'll say it again. The jazz biggest problems are at the top.
