These are some hard core soccer players.

They are killing it on the world stage.

Should we ignore them?
 
It's great; we should all be proud of their accomplishments. But a little perspective is needed - the US is way ahead of the curve with the rest of the world when it comes to women's soccer.

Title IX is going on 50 years old in the US and most countries don't even have a comparable law on their books today - that's what should really be celebrated.

Many of the South American powerhouse countries in men's soccer don't qualify or even field a women's team.

I have been watching them.
Very fun games to watch. They are awesome.

I like women's soccer better than men's in general. And no, not just cause I'm a perv. It seems like there are more shots on goal in women's soccer. They are less patient. Just go for it more often even when there isn't a great opportunity.

Today I’ll be conflicted, US vs. Spain
Will be an awesome game, the US being the clear favorites.
 
Not to take away from their skills, they touch the ball very well. But I think that athleticism makes a bigger difference in women’s soccer than in men’s soccer, that’s why the US is killing it.
 
Officiating in womens world cup is pretty poor. Not sure why they are not using more men refs who are clearly much better at this time.

Yes, why are you confused? If I am a player I would like the best refs officiating in world cup no matter the gender. As it stands now the best referees in the world are male, so why insist of using just female refs?

When you go for life saving surgery would you care more about surgeons gender or about the skills? Screw equality.... you need the best of the best at the top event in particular sports.
 
I wish I could have watched today's game since it was my birth country against my citizenship country. I'm glad the USA won.
