What type of candidate can beat Trump?

I guess if you want to paint with a broad brush... and boil everything down to the worst and most extreme foreign policies.

I have no problem with a strong foreign policy. I actually do believe that a strong American presence in the world helps things to run more cohesively and peacefully. I agree, the Iraqi war was a mistake. But surrendering southeast Asia to the anti-human rights Chinese or surrendering our Eastern European allies and the Middle East to the authoritarian scumbag Russians would be a far greater mistake.

I don’t recall Kristol or Rubin condoning torture.

You are right, trump is an existential threat. I’m still not a George Will fan but I’ll march right with him to the ballot box to vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is. Trump must be defeated"

Thriller you say "But surrendering southeast Asia to the anti-human rights Chinese or surrendering our Eastern European allies and the Middle East to the authoritarian scumbag Russians would be a far greater mistake."

Have you not read where in England and European countries they have no go Muslim zones where the police won't go into? They don't assimilate. Trump is trying to save our country and people like you fight him at every turn. Basic math says we can not afford unlimited medicare, free college, etc. for all the illegals we have now, and you want to let in more. Do you not understand that everyone with an expensive terminal illness will pour into our country for free medical care? People like you will bring our great nation to it's knees.

Again my comment does not even show. You have to click the faded click to expand.
THAT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE TYPING YOUR RESPONSE INSIDE THE POST YOU'RE QUOTING.

Seriously, this **** isn't hard.

Holy **** man, learn how this works.

1 -- Hit the "reply" button.
2 -- Make sure the cursor (that vertical bar that flashes to show you where what you type will be placed) is below the quote (after the bracket that surrounds the word "/QUOTE").
3 -- Type your response.
4 -- Hit "Post Reply" button.
5 -- Pat yourself on the back for thinking that you're owning the libs.

You need to make sure the cursor is below the quote...

Everyone else on this forum knows how this works.

Are you on drugs? Is that why you can't figure this out?

@jazzrule Pay careful attention to step #2 in my instructions to you on how to reply to a post.

Thriller, are you sure nothing bad overall happens in USA for people similar like you, if hypothetically 100 million of white conservatives (who in general would vote somebody from the GOP) would be replaced by 100 million Han chinese who are also Xi Jinping fans and have a mentality "China must grow large" assuming you believe that mass immigration do not harm local lifestyle?
We experienced something similar after Molotop-Ribbentrop pact and we still "enjoy" the results.

I work with a lot of those Chinese people, and many are not quite the Xi Jinping fans you imagine to be.

However, you may not have been aware that the post you were responding to was a joke.

Both parties are so ridiculous. We are likely to have bad presidents for a long time unless they get their acts together. I agree that Democrats are making it hard on themselves to win. That shouldn't be difficult to figure out. Probably 80%* of what people value are the same regardless of political ideology. Focus on those things instead of the other 20%.

*not an official statistic of any sort - just my own observations

Agreed.

I don’t understand why we even have a House or Reps still by the way Pelosi has acted. She essentially says, “that she can’t pass anything while Mitch and Donald are at the controls. So it’s not even worth trying.” Sooooooo why even have a House? Why did we give you back the controls of power?

If I were in charge I’d focus on 4 things:

1. Treating people like human beings. We can work on immigration without putting kids in cages or blowing billions on a damn wall.

2. Protecting health care. We don’t need to get into details about how that’ll be done. That’s a battle for another day. But right now millions of people are about to lose their health care (depending on what happens in the 5th circuit). And currently millions cannot afford their prescriptions. That shouldn’t be.

3. Our elections must be protected against hacking. Campaign on automatic voting and securing our elections against fraud and attack.

4. The easiest one of all, keep Trump’s corruption in the spotlight. Yesterday should’ve hammered him with what our greatest allies are describing him as. England, even England, calls him, “insecure, inept, and incompetent.” Is this leadership we want?

Today? We should be focusing on how he doesn’t care about women. Hell, he and his buddies abused our judicial system because they’re rich. We need leadership that ****ing cares. I can’t imagine Obama tolerating a cabinet member’s insensitivity and potential corruption like this. Remind people what it was like to have a decent person in the White House. It’s only politically advantageous and morally expedient to remind voters about Trump and the pieces of **** he has in his cabinet. Sex trafficking shouldn’t be tolerated at all.

You can't imagine Obama doing anything wrong, that is your problem. Obama has already been implicated in the spying on Trump's campaign. Obama attorney general Holder referred to himself as Obama's wing man. Come on Thriller take the democratic blinders off.
