The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

If that works for you, fine. I don't condemn people when they are faced with two bad options and choose the less bad. I have gone both ways. I voted for Stein (didn't know at that time how anti-vax she was) rather than Obama or Romney, but voted for Clinton over Trump.

That depends on the level of bad of both. Also it’s not a A or B choice.

Trump isn't going to get impeached. The Dems are antagonizing the president on everything he does and says in the hopes of creating the appearance that he should be impeached. Clearly he won't be. More likely, he's going to get re-elected because the Dems don't yet have a viable platform to run on (other than disparaging Trump).

(They actually do though)

If the Democrats want to impeach Trump, they have the votes to do it. It only takes a House majority.

See I could never wrap my head around the idea of voting for Clinton just to avoid Trump from being elected, as so pro-establishment as she appears to be.
But whatever rocks your boat.

No, you're a Nazi because you are dissing sane people while seeming to take delight in a tyrant taking over America.

No, I choose to not let it consume my entire thinking and ruin my days thinking about Trump.

I’m here for positivity there is so much negativity going on.

I love it how Trumpers think “Dems are antagonizing trump.” What does their boy do every single day? You wake up every morning and what is he doing on Twitter? Literally, every morning. What does he do at his political rallies? When he rants on Fox News? That’s leadership to some of you?

I also love how checks and balances (that are usually ignored by this admin) is now suddenly “antagonization.” trump’s own ethics dept recommended Kellyanne Conway he terminated for her repeated violations of the Hatch Act. Sarah huckabee Sanders admitted to Mueller that she lied during her press conferences. Elected officials demanding to have access to these detention centers where people are dying seems reasonable to me.

This administration has proven time after time to be dishonest and extremely shady. Holding the executive accountable is defined by the constitution. That’s antagonization?

Maybe democrats should take a page out of the GOP’s playboy and write a letter to Iran to tell them that trump doesn’t speak for America.

Plenty of other threads for you to enter for that. Yet you seem to dwell in these. Interesting strategy you got going bud.

Which of the bulletted items in post #3 don't you care about? The "treason" one could be a matter of debate, perhaps, but I believe all of the other ones are proven, or very nearly so, and a matter of public record.

  • racism
  • sex crimes
  • concentration camps
  • corruption
  • traitor
  • obstruction of justice
  • attacks on rule of law
  • assault on freedom of the press
  • pathological lying
  • unfitness for office
  • incompetence
  • attacks on our most important allies and alliances
  • systematic destruction of our environment
  • violation of international treaties and agreements
  • embrace of our enemies
  • defense of murdering dictators
  • serial undermining of our national security
  • nepotism
  • attacks on our federal law enforcement and intelligence communities
  • fiscal recklessness
  • degradation of the office and of public discourse in America
  • support of Nazis and white supremacists
  • the dead in Puerto Rico and the at the border
  • turning the US government into a criminal conspiracy to empower and enrich the president and his supporters
  • weaponization of politics in America to attack the weak

Thesophistry climax happened a long time ago. Is this the epilogue?

But that’s the thing, it should always be about ideology. Funny how you like to focus on racial issues but would be willing to vote for a guy who has a questionable past in this matter.

Thriller?

I invite you to continue to be positive. You could also agree that Trump should be impeached or, at least, not re-elected for the reasons listed by the OP or a myriad of others. Seems like you can still be positive and also care about your country. I promise it won't ruin your days. These are not mutually exclusive things.

Dems are harassing Trump. That's bad.

Trump is trolling the libs. That's good.

I don't disagree. choosing between two **** candidates is a terrible scenario. At that point it becomes a matter of degree and your own personal choice and I wouldn't judge anybody for not participating.

Hopefully, Biden doesn't get the nomination. We're asking for a repeat of 2016 at that point.

Why would I want him to be impeached when my life is great and the economy is great?

If you commit a crime and go to jail are you bringing your kids with you?
Seeking asylum isn't a crime. Further, if you are arrested for a misdemeanor offense you are usually offered bail and a court hearing, and able to return home to your family in the meantime, not locked up indefinitely.

Seeking asylum legally is definitely not a crime.

Seeking asylum illegally is. There is a difference.
