It's true. Do you know who benefited most financially from the Iraq War? Halliburton, the defense contractor, of which Cheney was CEO before becoming V-P, and in which he owned massive amounts of stock. He and Rummy, that old fart, were part of a group called The Project of the New American Century, which some believe laid the groundwork for war in the Middle East and which some believe orchestrated 9-11 as a pretext for the war.

That you think I was baiting you means you missed the point.
Now, whatever you do, you must keep insisting you got the point, and making statements to that regard, which statements still miss the point. Under no circumstances should you try to look deeper, or maybe just ask me what my point was. That was would be too non-confrontational, and you can't own a lib that way.
But what she said is pretty much how most Americans see it.
Trump is not a "racist" in any sense of ill will. He was proud of the work his union workers(mostly black) did in building his New York tower. He actually has thought so little about "race issues" he is sure to not even see the subtleties of his off-the-cuff expressions.
He builds stuff. Hires people who can do the job.

I think that since Obama's time, there have been organized agitators including media players really pushing race issues as a political tool. Balkanization and division of Americans being organized for political purposes.
I was watching MSNBC coverage on TV in a room crowded with black folks yesterday. They were totally bored with the news.

America is America because of the ideas of human rights it has cultivated. Some people believe other countries have worse governments that don't protect people's rights as well, nor give them as much opportunity. A lot of people question socialism/globalism on issues that negatively impact the little guy, where ever he's from. If you want bigger government with more power in the bureaucracy and less in the hands of people..... its a fair question.
There are lots of countries where "American" ideas are not the norm, socialists.... have a lot of choices of better governments with better as in more progressive societies.
Since Trump's tweets, I've been thinking of doing a poll thread. What country should we relocate Jazzfanz to, where there will be less to complain about because of backward political ideas?
Kicky thinks the American Constitution is such a problematic thing he won't talk to people who prattle on about it in a positive light. He was in Ukraine recently, I wonder if things are better there.....

I like Putin. He's possibly a post-ideological Russian..... a Russian Nationalist. Jon Huntsman Jr. is our Ambassador there....the same Huntsman family as tried to start up a petrochemical unit there, and was run off by Putin because Putin actually took a position that Russian resources are for Russian oligarchs who smile just right for Putin.

A quicky search shows multiple polls about Trump's latest tweets would claim otherwise. One poll by USA today shows 59% found his tweets in American.
There is a reason Trump is not well supported. Most people dislike him and don't think he is doing a good job.
The vast majority of minorites in the USA think Trump is racist and that his policies hurt them.
