The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Yes, please, tell me again about that white supremacist Polynesian. Bwahahahah

Knows what's even more ignorant that confusing racists and misogynists? Thinking that there are no minorities that support white supremacy. The Proud Boys are not racist, but there are white supremacist groups with minority members, so bringing up a Polynesian Proud Boy doesn't prove your point at all.

You’re either dishonest or uninformed, I’m trying to figure out which.

Specks and planks.

Destroy a city lmao. I've got no love for antifa, but their influence and impact is vastly overstated.

Good to see you taking the side of a Proud Boy though.

No, he doesn't take the side of the Proud Boys. He merely only criticizes antifa uses information he gets from Proud Boy allies. It's not the same at all!

I'm being told I can't read from the guy that gets his ideas read to him?

Think about that.

When you struggle with reading from the simplicities of a dyslexic person, you really should ask yourself questions.

Again, if you think my only source is Joe Rogan, you're a complete incompetent sheepleton.

Antifa and the Proud Boys are both awful.

Both are a detriment to our society.

Anybody condoning, defending, or supporting what they do is an idiot beyond repair.
Agreed. The only thing Antifa has going for them in theory is that as anti fascist group at least their heart is in the right place, how they put that into practice is... not great.

It's also kind of hard to talk about Antifa as an organization because they have none. There's no one leading Antifa, there no structure to the group whatsoever so any Bill, Sally or Nancy can put on some body gear and call themselves Antifa.

The Proud Boys on the other hand are an out and out fascist organization, hence the continued confrontations between the two groups.

I'm gonna go ahead and say a group known for putting on masks, seriously injuring people, extreme verbal violence, starting fires, kicking a pregnant woman, breaking into buildings, having a member try to assault a federal building doesn't have their heart in the right places. This is a bunch of angry people looking to release that anger.

Perhaps I haven't seen it, but it doesn't seem like any members condone their actions. Sean King (not a member) called the guy who attacked the federal building a martyr. That's *********.

It's great to be anti-facist, but they're as much anti-facist as the Proud Boys are for "Western values".

Antifa and the Proud Boys are just different sides of the same coin.

Yeah I would largely agree with this, honestly. Again, it's hard to put Antifa in a box because literally anyone can claim they are a part of the movement, which results in a bunch of people looking for an excuse to just cause a bunch of mayhem to do just that.

This is a handy little breakdown of the group.

Sure, I get that.

To be honest, it comes off as making excuses for antifa to me, and I'm not with that. The people can stop it, if they want to. I mean, they've been more violent than the Proud Boys! They don't need excuses. None of them do. Vile people. All of them.

To be clear, I am certain many members of antifa are committing crimes, the disgusting assault of Andy Ngo is an example of this playing out. I'd have a hard time saying they've been more violent than the proud boys though (not sure how we'd really quantify that), that group explicitly exists to perpetrate political violence and is responsible for plenty of beatings themselves. Basically, yeah, they both suck.

Totes.

And arguing who's worse is just silly and pointless. They both suck.

Now look? Zombie and I had a non-jazz talk where we agreed! I'm gonna go ahead and quit the internet tonight while I'm ahead. There's hope for us all yet!

Getting back to the point of this thread, Trump needs to be impeached.

I think many people may have forgotten this: Trump was "Individual-1" in the Michael Cohen case. That is, Cohen is currently serving 3 years jail time for something Trump requested and conspired with him to do. If Trump were not President, he undoubtedly would also been indicted for that. And he might still be, after leaving office.

Thanks for the reminder. The ONLY reason Trump wasn't indicted was because of DOJ policy not to indict sitting Presidents.
