In a nation full of guns I think it's the only responsible thing to do.Mandating firearm education is not a very good look, domestically or internationally.
I'm not talking about teaching people how to shoot. I'm not talking about having real guns in a classroom. I'm talking about teaching students how firearms work, the difference between a semi-auto and a lever-action. Teaching proper nomenclature (a massive point of division in any current gun debate, with gun control advocates constantly using the wrong terms, saying absolutely stupid things like hollow-points are exploding ammo or that they are "cop-killer" bullets). How to safely disable a firearm. Stuff like that, along with knowing when someone is acting inappropriately with a firearm, so that they can notify someone immediately.
