Gutfeld on 2020 Dems trying to act human

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/gutfeld-2020-dems-trying-to-act-human

If Beto O’Rourke can change a tire, maybe he can change the world.

"I'm changing the tire on this truck," he explained in a video. That went great!

Yeah, it's as choreographed as the Ice Capades, but it beats watching this feverish lightweight clipping his ear hair.

Or dragging you to the dentist to see the inside of his gaping mouth.

So what’s next for "Slender Man"? What other impersonations of a regular guy can he do?
Can he hammer a nail into the coffin of his dead campaign? Or dig a ditch where he can bury the unsold copies of Vanity Fair? Maybe return home to borrow money from the in-laws?

Meanwhile, Liz Warren gets an earful of reality from a farmer, who told her, "The Green New Deal says we need to get rid of cows. I don’t agree with that."

"Eh!" she replied. The truth left her cold.

As Kamala Harris found no rest in a rest home.

"Leave our health care system alone," an elderly resident told her.

"OK," Harris responded. "I won't mess with the health care that you have."

Then she threw her behind bars.

Well, that was bad. Why is that? Well, neither Liz or Kamala seem interested or comfortable.

Biden has a son, Hunter. Hunter came along on an official visit to China, and hob-nobbed with the Honchos, and came home with a billion-dollar investment in a business he knew nothing about. I mean, the Chinese don't throw their money away, except in Casinos and massage resorts. They got something for their investment. I'd call that directly being bought by a foreign state. No mere meddling. Outright sell out.

The Chinese invested in a venture capital firm. Happens every day.

Of course the Chinese got something for their investment. That is why it is called an investment. That is how capitalism works.

“Being bought”. “Sell out”? Can you share what facts you have that prove this? Or is this just hopeful speculation and slander?

Really cool cut/ paste. Now if we can only find one single solitary democrat who believes that everyone who disagrees with them is a mass murderer.

Sorry, I forgot, facts don’t matter anymore. Nvm, Keep posting the lies

You are correct that reform must happen. Before Obamacare, I had excellent insurance through my employer. Now I pay monthly for a $7500 high deductible plan that I cannot even use. The problem with your Germany example though is that you spend nearly half the year working for the government. The top tax rate of 42% applies to taxable income above €55,961. Finally, for taxable income above €265,327, a 45% tax is applicable.

I'll take insurance the way it used to be (not that long ago) over the government running it into the ground any day!!

35 years ago, you could get great insurance while working full time at Burger King. That ended 30 years ago. I suppose you'll find a way to blame Obama for that.

The rise in health insurance premiums over the last few decades come from issues such as increasingly expensive technology and drugs, over-testing to protect against lawsuits, and increasing obesity in the population (again, all of these issues started before Bush 41). If we don't change our system, they will continue to get worse. This will not be stopped by keeping Obamacare, nor by scrapping it, because the issues aren't not related to Obamacare.

More; in addition to what’s already being paid...
You realize that if we had M4A neither you nor your employer would be paying for your current private health insurance, right? Not to mention deductibles and other out of pocket expenses.

So, no not more in addition to what's being paid, at all.

Anecdotal evidence here. I work for a hospital system that also run their own insurance. Currently, I pay ~$170/check for insurance for myself and my wife, just counting the medical/dental/vision. I'm paid semi-weekly, so that comes out to $4420/yr. BUT my employer pays $800/check, which is another $20800/year. Even if they only gave me 25% of that, I would come out ahead. And companies would increase salaries if they didn't pay insurance, since otherwise they'd not be able to attract the best talent.
