Best shows on TV?

Does anyone watch Destination Unknown?

I like Josh Gates and think he has a pretty good sense of humor. He has what I consider my dream job. He's like the real life Indiana Jones. I could watch those shows for days.

Somedays I wish I would have studied either geology, archaeology or history.

But fascinating. It's far more psychological than most hit shows. If you're looking for action only then it's slow. But I never found it to be slow at all really.

That wasn’t a criticism. I was just giving a heads up that it’s kore that than Law and Order or some faster-paced policer.

I think part of it is I know almost all of the profiling crap they get into so it doesn’t feel fresh to me and thus dulls down what could have been a better tv experience for me. 21 years ago, I bought 3 or 4 of Douglas’ books and read about 2.5 of them iirc. Quite honestly, reading the details of all the cases after a while got to me, and I needed to get away from them. Pretty dark ****.
 
I have all those books (some have many gruesome images too) on my bookshelfs down in the living room. I probably should put them elsewhere as my oldest just turned five and she or one of the others will stumble upon them at some point.

Yeah I've read about the topic but never read those books so it comes across differently for me.

My god, her voice. It's one of the all time greats. It's like Lagavulin with a Guinness chaser. It's razors on silk, it's an iron bar wrapped in velvet. Every word sounds post-coital.

I love a good voice. It may be one of the most attractive qualities in a woman for me. Fish I'm sure knows this person but there is a processing operator who works nights who is from Eastern Europe and hearing her over the radio is like an erotic experience for me.

There was a woman I knew at work - she was in the training department, so I didn't work directly with her that often. One time I had to call her for something, and I got her voicemail. She had had a sore throat or something when she recorded her outgoing message, and it literally knocked me down - I had to sit down, it was so goddamn sexy.
 
I have DC Universe, and recommend Young Justice for top-notch storytelling and Doom Patrol for the sheer weirdness factor.
 
Just started the sinner on Netflix. Pretty strong first 2 episodes. Very unnerving.
