If the numbers are truly 10x higher like ppl say, and it’s a city of 13M, I’d basically have a 1 in 6,500 chance of dying. Those odds suck.

granted, there would be additional tourists there and more than 13M people but you get the point.

Nope. 13M divided by 2,000 (deaths based on ppl saying the numbers are more like 10x what’s being reported) is 6,500.

No. China is going to tightly control information about the Coronavirus, the death count, and the economic impact because they don't want their economy to collapse and their party to go along with it.

Never once have I claimed that wild animal markets don't exist in China. They definitely do.

They are working on one. Most experts think they can have one made in a much shorter time than in the past. Best case seems to be 3 months. But being available to the public is more likely 1 year after trials for safety.

Yeah, I wouldn't go to Wuhan. I was referring to Shanghai which is a very different city. There's no deaths there yet. So odds of dying from this there are currently 0. Also only one person under 50 has died from this and he had other medical complications. It isn't killing any one reasonably healthy.
