I thought MAGA was America first.

yeah well, I’m sure #IMPOTUS45 immediately ordered replenishment supplies so that we would not run out of supplies. I’m sure he didn’t plan for 15 cases dropping to zero in a few days. That would be unconscionable
Trump figures we had enough to supply red states so might as well send the rest to China. Don't want to save liberal lives. That would just be stupid.

Current Utah statistics:
** 602 positive diagnoses from a base of 11,312 tests administered to people showing symptoms
** 95% of tests are negative, meaning they have the flu or some other viral infection
** 2 deaths have occurred so far, resulting in a fatality rate of 0.33%
** Both fatalities were patients with underlying conditions
** If we assume that there are at least another 600 or so people out there with the infection who have not been tested, the fatality rate drops into the 0.15% - 0.20% range, which is indeed comparable with seasonal flu.

I assume we'll continue to social distance and watch the data for another week or so, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if people started going back to work in mid-April with some basic precautions. At least a dozen or two other states are similar.

One main reason I posted anything about my very local RI setting, is because I felt the "RI uses police and the military to hunt New Yorkers seeking refuge" would spotlight civil rights issues, and was bound to generate pushback, and indeed, this was the result of Gov. Raimondo' effort to locate such New Yorkers entering RI:

Right now, 50% of U.S. recorded cases and 40% of deaths so far are concentrated in NY and NJ. More importantly, 33% of tests administered in NY are coming back positive, compared to under 10% everywhere else. The government is justified to ban travel to and from those areas. I'm assuming that the only reason they didn't is because the fatality rate is relatively low and the majority of fatalities are people over the age of 65 with underlying health conditions.

Imagine New Yorkers being told they need to be quarantined to protect the safety of the rest of the country...

Glad to see that Donald is focused on what really matters today:

This is just heartbreaking:

Trump loves to bitch about the media..... The libs...... The Dems.... He just loves to bitch.

Oh and congratulate himself. He loves that too

More power to the people tuning in to the daily briefings. Personally can't listen to his rants.

Wonder how many of the people tuning in are doing so to listen to Fausi?

I literally have never watched a press conference of his live. And I'm not just talking about his coronavirus virus ones. I'm talking any live press conference, state of the union address, rally, interview, etc. Never tuned in to a single one.

Hell, though I have watched small clips of some of the crap he says, I have also never watched any of his recorded public speakings start to finish even non-live.

of course, we all know even if we did and if that person was a Democrat, these pieces of **** would do everything to prevent he/she from being successful:

I also believe that if we had elected an awesome republican for president who was simply fantastic in every way that the democrats would do everything they could to prevent he/she from being successful.

2 party system sucks.
