The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

This should get sickening very fast. Tik Tok is a Chinese owned platform. Even though this has every earmark of a grassroots trolling campaign, look for the right to spin this as a "China is colluding with the left because they support Bejing Joe story."
I mean, they've already tried doing this, but a bunch of teenagers using tiktok to send videos of them pranking Donald Trump's campaign isn't quite the slam dunk conspiracy they think it is.

This will still end up as part of the spin at some point. Whether anyone buys it is another consideration. Ol Don will spin with anything.

I wish the Trumpers who see him as an economic ally would understand one thing:

Trump did nothing but dump gas on OBAMA’S ECONOMY. He was doing nothing but over-heating certain economic strengths that he inherited. And history is clear: those actions eventually steer us into a correction (Coronavirus has just delivered us to this point more quickly than we would have been otherwise been delivered).

If Trump has a secret cohort, I fear it’s a clique of douchebags who feel like they’ve hacked into some kind of logic where they believe they can profit from his brand of chaos—essentially shorting certain sectors of the economy and then pivoting and picking the right time to go on stock-buying sprees. I mean, **** civic duty, right?

I’d argue that deregulation is an area where trump has influenced the economy beyond what Obama did.

And you know how much I hate trump. So I’m just saying,

The deregulation was the “gas dumping” thing that I mentioned.

Yeah, that can absolutely be translated as Trump not caring how many Americans die from Covid-19. Testing revealed positives, leading to quarantines, and fewer cases. Also leading to contact tracing, and fewer cases. His call to slow down testing leads to more deaths. And this is funny exactly how?

I would hope, at his next presser, whether formal, or on a tarmac, or wherever, that reporters press him on this “joke”. I want to hear him, or any of his spokespeople, explain the joke. What exactly was the punch line of this joke? Why did the audience not laugh? And do not let him brush the question aside. If he does, next reporter up presses the issue: please explain what the punch line was; what was the humor in what you said, sir?
Agreed, although from what I heard many of the audience DID laugh. Which perhaps says something about them.

Yes, you’re right. I watched that again, and there was light laughter. Still, it was clearly not a joke-like delivery.

The solution is so easy, but only Trump knew that, hahaha. As if they are chuckling at the president’s “cleverness”. I’m trying to think this out as I write, and that seems about right, a combination of laughing at how simple the solution is and how clever Trump was in calling for that solution: just don’t test as much. Haha, leave it to Trump to outthink everyone, he has so much more common sense than everyone else, hahaha. I would favor this as an explanation for the light laughter, but I think it’s obvious that he dragged his feet on federal help in testing from the start. And THAT is no joke!! This was his thought process from the time he didn’t want 15 sick Americans to debark in Seattle, so our numbers would not go up! Just dumb, dumb logic. No surprise there, lol...

They laugh at his mannerisms, the look on his face, etc. For sure, they can’t be laughing at the thought that “more people will die! Hahaha”. I hope!

pretty amazing how many people confuse being criticized for something with trying to control them.

these are anti first amendment posts. They want to gag us from criticizing them.

which is ironic.

And also weak. Just defend yourself and stop being a snowflake.

That’s somewhat fair. Up front, I’m voting Biden. I’ve always been a pretty liberal person. But this cancel culture we’re currently living in is the ****ing worst. The absolute ****ing worst. And I do find a ton of irony in how liberals are the ones primarily doing this. Calling out anyone and everyone. People losing jobs left and right as a result. Indirectly acting holier than thou which is hilarious since that’s been the right’s calling card for as long as I can remember. ****ing keep it. Everyone needs to go back to work.

Well said. I agree.

Yeah I don't think he was joking guys.

Him and his handlers are idiots. The entire talking point of these numbskulls is ‘More testing will of course lead to most cases.’

Nobody is debating that fact, dummy. What is problematic is purposefully not testing as much to hide an issue.

This administration will leave a stain on American politics for generations.

Yeah, been thinking about this. They laughed because to them he showed a common man “common sense” answer to the problem of testing leading to higher numbers. Not dissimilar to “Doc, it hurts my arm when I move it this way”. Doc: “Don’t move it that way!” Apparently not recognizing the punch line revealed no concern for saving American lives. It likely produced a warm “that’s our Trump, haha” moment. Right over their heads. There’s no accounting for bad taste. Or useful fools. I think you’re on to something.
