What's new

2020 Presidential election

I assume you mean “Too Much and Never Enough” by Mary Trump. I’ve read numerous excerpts and reviews, but I’m not inclined to buy the book as I don’t think I need anymore confirmation as to his family dysfunction and his behavioral and developmental disorders. For example, it’s been obvious to me for many years, ever since I first started hearing and reading about him, that Trump is a man-child with daddy issues. Is there new information about which you were especially surprised? Anything you might want to share would be appreciated.
This.
I knew he was piece of **** before he ever became a politician

I might have an error here for all I know. But I've heard a son of Trump who is also named Donald. I don't know his middle initial. But I was referring to this articulate and somewhat charismatic son of Pres. Trump. I think he uses the Jr. in his name.

Sure, as far a mentally challenged snakes go, Donald Trump Jr. is pretty charismatic.

Fraud was investigated by Trump last time around and very little and nothing of any sort of significance was found.
It's a lost cause, man. He's convinced there's voting fraud happening at a large scale, and only by the democrats.

you have no credibility on this subject. You bring nothing to the discussion but sheer baseless opinion.

I grew up in a family that was mostly scientific. I might be the loose cannon of the bunch, but If you actually have something that demonstrates your point, that is better than nothing.

DJT Jr has been drawn into the investigative efforts that missed no one close to Pres. Trump. He writes with conviction, and he illustrates his points.

Overall, while I really hated Hannity when he was pushing RINO candidates like Romney and McCain, and while obvious he's in cahoots with Rush and Levin and others on the conservative circuit radio hosts, the one thing that impresses me most is that they all have kept their own perspectives, their own style, and their own market. You have one old line political operative/;awuer in Levin, the quintessential American intellectual in Rush, and the guy at the corner pub/bar who can deal with anyone with courtesy and style in Hannity.

I find that they are basically honest. You can quibble about their facts, but they will all hang Trump out to dry on occasion when they think he's bent over too far for his critics. Nobody dares cross Pelosi like that.......or Hillary....... or Biden.

The prominent national Dem leadership are bizarrely inconsistent, and damned determined liars who will sink with the ship before they cough up an apology for anything.

I think if there were any effort to do the needed analysis, they are each extremely high on the sociopathic scale.

In fact, most of what I see in here about Trump just seems more like projection, the first resort of habitual liars.

If you are really so concerned about our country, I bet you could do more reasoned and objective discussions while resisting the babish habit of hyperbole.

There have been several prosecution and convictions lately, and yes it is done by ambitious politicos of any preferred stripes.

At this point, I’m not afraid. Barr can October surprise us all he wants. He has no credibility. Outside of the trump base, no one gives a **** what he thinks.

Sorry, but I never count my enemy out until the proverbial fat lady sings. I don’t believe in letting my guard down against Trump and Barr, and I don’t know what cards they are holding, or how they’ll play their hand. I can’t imagine anything that catastrophic, but maybe my imagination is limited. It will be over when it’s over.

One of the more funny posts from babe.

Did you ever see the old movie "Planet of the Apes"????? Open mockery of ignoramuses running guvmints.

I see some fairly good posts by Game, but rarely in response to me. For some reason he just loses his cool about stuff I write. If he were a Kicky, say, but still idiot enough to try to get into an earnest heartfelt discussion with me..... which Kicky is not willing to do because he is not fundamentally an idiot, I think Game and I could do some rip roaring battles in here. But Game takes himself seriously, and probably I do too. But Game gets mad, and I just laugh.

I fully realize the idiocy of these discussions, but I value the exercise. It might be the intellectual or social equivalent of barefoot, bare handed cliff climbing. It's all for nothing, sure. But it's the challenge that makes the game.

I haven't gotten "mad" on these forums for easily 6 months or more.

I don't engage you seriously because while you are not intentionally dishonest you have repeated falsehoods that you had previously acknowledged were false. I can't remember the specific one I called you out on, but when I did I said plainly that I no longer consider you worth having an honest discussion with, since you are not an honest person.

Nothing has changed for me on that.

Not exactly. He's "speaking it into existence". I don't think he believes half of what he says. But he says what he feels will advance the agenda. And part of the agenda right now is preemptively dirtying the election because he knows he won't win.

Trump very obviously has some level of antisocial personality disorder. He is more on the psychopathic side, in that it's very clear he has no conscience. He tries to emulate other people enough that he appears "normal" generally, but he has no moral qualms at all about doing what he feels is in his best interest regardless of who it hurts. He lacks empathy, and has zero regard for others, again a psychopath tendency.

This.
I still remember when he visited the site of a tornado and there was an admittedly amazing story of a young boy who was picked up by the tornado and carried a block or two away and set down unharmed.
Trump was fascinated by this story (rightly so) and was talking about it on camera. When he finished talking about it he was told that the boys parents were both killed by the tornado.
Now most people at this point would become saddened by the tragic news that this boy is now orphaned with his parents having just died and most people would offer condolences or some type of empathy.
But not Trump. He didn't even acknowledge their deaths. He was just like "but what am amazing story!!!"

As the son of 2 mental health professionals, I hate armchair diagnosing. But Trump just makes it so easy...

I'm sure there's been talk earlier in the thread, but I'm lazy, who are people feeling for Biden's VP pick?

I've liked Duckworth for awhile, think she has near bulletproof optics.

I like elizabeth warren but it appears to me that the candidate has to be a POC no matter what. Hell, warren might be too old to take over after bidens first term anyway
